Keto’s huge at the moment. And keto-related supplements are really starting to pick up their pace as well. And naturally, there’s a lot of hype going on. Is Perfect Keto Base just another supplement that’s trying to take advantage of this hype?
Well, in this particular Perfect Keto Base review, you will hear all about that. At Health Knight we’re all about the truth. And the truth is exactly what you’ll get.
Thus, we’ll challenge the claims, dissect the active ingredients and additives, we’ll assess the potential benefits (if any), we’ll look at the global success rates and whether or not people find value in the supplement, as well as we’ll cover other noteworthy aspects.
Essentially, all to make as accurate of an assessment about the Perfect Keto Base supplement as humanly possible.
Meaning, my goal here is to create a review like no other – one that you can get all possible insights from. One, after which you don’t have to go on to other reviews and explore more. Therefore, if by any chance there is a section or aspect I haven’t covered but you’re interested in, let me know. And I’ll add that to the review.
Perfect Keto Base Review – Initial Thoughts & Claims Identified
According to the manufacturer, Perfect Keto Base is an exogenous ketone supplement “made from the highest-quality Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB)” and thus, “not only will help you curb cravings and hunger, support your workouts, and boost energy even on your busiest of days” but also “make it easy for you to get into ketosis and stay there”.
When looking at the description page, it does leave a very good first impression. It’s clean. It’s well-structured. And it’s not overstuffed with text. Which does kind of lead us to an issue with it.
While it may superficially seem to be a very solid one and one that contains an abundance of information, all that it really is, is a continuous and never-ending regurgitation of the same stuff over and over again.
I mean, literally, every section contains their key phrase – the supplement will give you energy and mental clarity whenever you need it. Then there’s also such key phrases constantly repeating like “gives energy without the crash”, “zero sugar”, “mix with coffee, nut milk, smoothies”.
Sometimes it’s more discrete while also using different words to still describe the very same thing, other times you essentially get to read the very same thing over and over again.
I mean, I may be splitting hairs here, but this is how I genuinely felt when I was going through the description page. “Why does it keep repeating?”
Well, maybe they’re just really trying to hammer that message down into your brain. Or maybe they’re trying to “chew” it from all of the sides and give you every single view for it. Or maybe it’s an adaptation of the rule “what gets repeated, gets remembered”.
Still, I feel it’s absolutely unnecessary and a little bit over the top.
That said, I really like the fact that even if you by accident discover the supplement, they offer you insights (90-second video) into what ketosis is, as well as an abundance of articles when it comes to learning more about keto and every single aspect of it.
The description page also offers a place to leave your reviews on the product. Which in this case, is a great medium for actually finding out what other customers that have used the product think about it.
In that sense, it’s very different from Purefit Keto, which doesn’t allow for customer reviews, or Pure Life Keto, which, as far as I can tell, is actively deleting the bad reviews. No, Perfect Keto Base is different.
They (as far as I can tell, of course) keep all of the customer opinions. Which I respect a lot. And it tells long tales about the integrity and core values of the Perfect Keto as a supplement manufacturer.
Also, at the end of the day, you can’t really fault the supplement for its looks. It looks great.
But can and does that look also translate to a solid benefit? That we’ll look into throughout the remainder of this article.
Above The Typical Nutrient Diversity
Perfect Keto Base comes in a number of different flavors. And with these flavors, there are also some slight variations to the active ingredients. Though that is nothing major and the core still stays the same.
The core of this are the salts of Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB). With every scoop, you’re getting 3,800 mg of Calcium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate, Magnesium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate, and Sodium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate each. For combined amounts of 11,400 mg.
Plus, given that mineral salts make available for the body also the respective minerals, you’re additionally getting 645 mg of Calcium, 390 mg of Magnesium, and 670 mg of Sodium (as indicated also on the label).
The above ingredients hold true for Perfect Keto Base Peach, Coffee, Vanilla, and Salted Caramel flavors.
For Chocolate Flavor, you’re additionally getting 10 mg of Phosphorus and 75 mg of Potassium because of that added Cocoa Powder.
Additionally, you also have the option of going with Perfect Keto Base BHB Capsules and thus, as the name suggests, getting that BHB in capsules.
That said, overall, it is a way less potent option (800 mg total BHB amounts) that I feel is just pointless to waste your time with.
Unless, of course, you have an unhealthy paranoia of adding and mixing in powders in the beverages that you’re about to drink. Still, I imagine that’s nothing too common these days.
A thing to note here is that often times Keto supplements offer too much of a particular type of BHB (Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, or Potassium). Thus, making it essentially so that while taking the supplement, you’re overconsuming on one of those minerals.
For example, that is the case with Research Verified Keto, which at the end of the day may cause you to overdose on Potassium. Which can be ridiculously detrimental.
For the Perfect Keto Base, you have none of that. It’s solidly below the best practices for daily nutrient amounts. Also, making it typically fully compatible with an unconventional multivitamin, as well as a conventional one (both for men and for women).
Other than that, of course, to all of the active ingredients, there is also the factor of additives, which we’ll discuss in one of the later sections. But for now, let’s turn to all that’s related to the potential benefits of the above mentioned active ingredients.
Do the promises hold true?
BHB – Weight Loss, Energy, Mental Clarity?
Did you happen to count how many times I mentioned that word combination of Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (or BHB) in the previous section?
Let’s just say a lot. And leave it at that.
The point is that Perfect Keto Base is all about that stuff. In this regard, it doesn’t really matter that superficially it seems that there are 3 different forms associated with it. It’s all about that BHB at the end of the day. And its potential benefits.
So, what exactly is Beta-Hydroxybutyrate?
Along with Acetoacetate and Acetone, it is the third yet most abundant of all three naturally occurring ketones that our body produces from fatty acids when in the state of ketosis. They even have a name for these kinds of ketones – exogenous ketones (likely because ketones only ever naturally occur within our bodies) [R, R, R, R].
But despite their exogenous nature, there are a number of benefits they can help you attain.
They’re amazing for providing energy both for the body and the brain, supporting weight loss, treating insulin resistance, increasing life span and longevity, protecting the brain, decreasing appetite, fighting cancer, healing and preventing diabetes and prediabetes, as well as providing other possible benefits [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
But what about mental clarity? I mean, the description page is absolutely booming with that claim.
Well, the state of ketosis and ketogenic diet list a bunch of benefits when it comes to the brain. It’s potentially beneficial in dealing with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, autism, congenital hyperinsulinism, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, headaches and even when recovering after a brain injury [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R]
So, to some degree, it can be asserted that they will definitely be contributing to your mental clarity, though it’s hard to disagree that these potential benefits much rather fits the bill of just having a healthy brain. However, as I see it, there’s a slightly different angle to all of this when pushing forward that idea of mental clarity.
Due to ketosis, you will be getting a much better grip of your blood sugar levels, which will help in controlling your cravings. Whereas not being on that processed sugar roller coaster will not only help you in avoiding energy crashes but it will also do one other thing.
It will make your brain seem (be) sharper. Mainly because no longer will it be running fully on glucose. Instead, it will be using those ketones for energy, which, as a lot of evidence is suggesting, is the more efficient and superior energy source for the brain [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
Thus, can it be said that a supplement like Perfect Keto Base can potentially contribute to mental clarity?
However, I personally would rather stick with the term of improving brain health as I feel it does more accurately represent the overall potential gains.
You Can Get Hit By Minute Side Effects
Whenever you’re embarking on a new supplement, 99% of the time along with the beneficial ingredients (active ingredients) you also get a list of additives. While these do serve a crucial purpose, they by far most of the time are the very culprits of possible side effects.
This is not to say that all additives are bad, not at all. This is only to point out that these do matter regardless of the fact that people (especially when reviewing supplements) are often completely ignorant and negligent about them.
If by any chance you yourself are too busy to do that supplement research, we can do it for you (no costs, no payments, no commitments, or anything alike involved.
Speaking of Perfect Keto Base, there are a number of different additives you can find.
Among all the variations (besides the capsule version) you can find Natural Flavor (or Natural Flavors), Calcium Silicate, and Monk Fruit Extract. Of these, Calcium Silicate is a seemingly harmless one, while the Monk Fruit Extract is a natural sweetener that doesn’t raise blood sugar or insulin levels [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R]
Whereas RebA (Stevia Extract), an ingredient that you’ll also find among the additives for most Perfect Keto Bases, is, in essence, a very similar ingredient to that Monk Fruit. Also, works as a sweetener but has no effects on blood sugar or insulin levels [R, R, R, R, R]
As for the Natural Flavors, there’s a little more to discuss though. Contrary to what might a lot of people assume, it’s not something that should be approached with the idea of natural means healthy. Because it can be none of that [R, R, R, R, R].
The thing about natural flavors, in general, is that their quality is highly dependent on the manufacturing practices used. Thus, if those are not solid, it’s possible that these flavors can contain potentially unwanted substances (impurities), which are by no means healthy to consume [R, R, R, R, R].
So, the most important question in this regard – is Perfect Keto Base of solid manufacturing practices?
Well, I don’t really know. They don’t really share information on their manufacturing practices. However, I feel and I would like to believe that they are very robust about making their supplements. They are led by a CEO that is a pretty high-profile doctor, and they have a very honed, intentional, specific mission and purpose. Furthermore, their values do correspond with mine – they’re all about the truth [R, R, R, R]
So, I do recognize I might be a little biased here but I feel a kindred soul that is all about helping people. One that can help you too. And one that is all about the best intentions.
To fully cover additives, there’s also the Cocoa Powder in the Chocolate version and Citric Acid in the Peach version of the Perfect Keto Base.
From these Cocoa is a pretty beneficial substance, whereas Citric Acid while can be harmful, it shouldn’t be any of that if you’re not using Aluminum Utensils or high number of processed foods that contain this same ingredient [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
For the Perfect Keto Base BHB Capsules, you get Gelatin, Microcrystalline, and L-Leucine. The second of the three listed is absolutely harmless and shouldn’t give you any hard time. Whereas the first and third are not only completely harmless but, in truth, actually beneficial [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
Therefore, all in all, at least as far as the additives go, Perfect Keto Base supplements are a very viable option.
There is, however, a potential side effect that naturally comes with the main beneficial ingredient Beta-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB). And that’s the aspect that while this is true that it will not affect everyone, some people may experience (mostly only initial) diarrhea, nausea or just general stomach discomfort [R, R, R, R].
In the Perfect Keto Base customer reviews, you don’t see too many people complaining about this but this is something that can happen. So, just be aware of it and know that’s nothing dangerous really. Furthermore, you’ll see recommendations from them to start with smaller serving size. Which can be an effective way to make sure that it does not happen.
Pretty Amazing Success Rate To Top It Off
So, does this everything also translate to people being happy about the Perfect Keto Base supplement and appreciating it for all that it is?
Taking a fully comprehensive look at all the customer reviews that I could possibly find over the internet, showed that the Perfect Keto Base enjoys around 86% global success rate.
That said, it must be taken into account that people typically tend to report negative outcomes way more often than positive ones. And hence, the actual success rate may be even slightly higher.
Which, at the end of the day, is an absolutely amazing success rate.
You don’t typically get that when talking about exogenous ketone supplements, To illustrate, here are the success rates of some of its competitors – above 59% for Pure Life Keto, above 67% for Research Verified Keto, and above 35% for Purefit Keto.
I mean, Perfect Keto Base must be doing something right, don’t you think?
On top of all that, while they don’t really boast about it, they do actually offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Thus, not only do they offer a highly beneficial product but also they’re absolutely committed to making sure that it will be beneficial for you specifically [R].
So, what do you stand to lose, my friend?
You Have Nothing To Lose, Only To Gain
There are a lot of Keto supplements out there. By far most of them are only about taking your money and not actually delivering any value for your benefit.
But Perfect Keto Base is NONE OF THAT.
In everything from active ingredients to additives, to 30-day money-back guarantee, to success rates – it is all about making sure that YOU specifically, whoever you may be, gain a SUPERB VALUE.
So, I feel and it really goes without saying that Perfect Keto Base is probably one of the very best bets (maybe even the best) if you’re looking to add some exogenous ketones (BHB) to your day to day life.
And in so doing lose a good amount of weight, improve your energy levels, and/or foster that mental clarity.
That said, if you want to go one extra level beyond that, in addition to fasting or fasting/keto-diet and this supplement try adding a proper MCT Oil supplement as well, which will only further augment weight loss, energy levels, brain health, and provide a number of other benefits.
Above all, I hope this Perfect Keto Base review helped you find the information you were looking for. But if not, I’ll be happy to hear any advice in the comments on how I could further improve it.
Other than that, if you get a chance, even one line in the comments helps a ton and will be highly and sincerely appreciated.
Hope to see you in another article!
