The description pages do contain some similar remarks and claims, as well as some that are unique from the general pack. Thus, I will make a quick run through for all the supplements. But first, I feel there’s one claim that is common among all and thus, must be mentioned [R, R, R, R, R, R].
That is the idea that MCT Oils are Brain and Body Fuel. Thus, through going for either one of these not only will you supposedly improve the health of your body but you’ll also positively influence your mind. Which is great.
And ultimately, all of the supplements do revolve around this.
Now that out of the way, on to the run through.
The very first of the pack is the MCT Oil Softgels. It’s the cheapest of the bunch. But it does also offer the least amounts of MCT Oil. Overall it’s kind of a typical supplement-like supplement offering the oil in what I see as the most convenient form for consumption – Softgels. Just pop them and you’re done [R].
The second we have Sports Research Emulsified MCT Oil. It’s the second cheapest. This one is particularly great if adding some quality fats to a coffee or any other drink of your choice is the most pleasant way for you. It is as thick and smooth as a coffee creamer, with just a bit of added flavor (Coconut or Vanilla) [R].
The third is the premium one. The Sports Reseach Premium MCT Oil is all about making sure you get the best kind of substance possible [R].
Within itself, it combines the full spectrum of Medium Chain Triglycerides (C8, C10, C12), including Lauric acid (C12) [R].
The fourth is all about Organic-ness. The Sports Reseach Organic MCT Oil is one that is comprised of Caprylic (C8) and Capric (C10) Medium-Chain Triglycerides derived from USDA Organic approved coconut oil [R].
It’s a real treat for all you organic lovers out there.
The fifth is the Keto C8 MCT Oil. As the name suggests this one is purely about that Caprylic Acid (C8) that is derived from Organic sources. Thus, it’s much like the Organic one but only providing C8. It’s said to be Keto friendly, and Vegan certified, and also unflavored [R].
The sixth is kind of a different sort of supplement. The Sports Research MCT Oil Powder is the organic alternative of traditional MCT Oil. It’s also Keto friendly and in addition, it also contains Prebiotic Acacia Fiber for that extra benefit. It’s said to be great for mixing with Coffee and Shakes [R].
All in all, a truly diverse line-up. It’s fair to say that anyone will be able to find an approach for MCT Oil supplementation that they will enjoy.
But are the supplements themselves actually worth your while?
MCT Oil Has A Number Of Amazing Benefits
So, it’s all about MCT Oils. Generally. Because they’re not really built fancy to contain all kinds of nutrients for that you have other supplements. So, all about MCT Oils. 100% from coconut oil.
But as for the core ingredient, all of the Sports Research MCT Oil supplements are made out of 100% coconut oil.
Overall, the oil definitely offers great amounts of various benefits that can be directly tied with any respective MCT Oil’s composition (Caprylic Acid – C8, Capric Acid – C10, Lauric Acid – C12).
In this regard, all of the supplements can be divided into three groups.
First, there are supplements in which MCT composition is only about Caprylic Acid (C8). To this group belongs the Sports Research Keto C8 MCT Oil.
Second, we have a group comprised of supplements, which MCT oil is comprised of Caprylic Acid (C8) and Capric Acid (C10). The members of this group are the MCT Oil Softgels, Organic MCT Oil, and MCT Oil Powder.
Third, we have the group of the three acids – Caprylic (C8), Capric (C10), and Lauric (C12). Here you’ll find two supplements – the Emulsified MCT Oil, Premium MCT Oil.
All of these three types of acids work both in conjunction and separately to provide potential benefits to your health.
For example, the Caprylic Acid (C8) is known to help keep cholesterol levels in check, to have Antibacterial, Antiviral, and Antifungal benefits, to help treat skin infections and acne, to lower risk of antibiotic resistance, to help in treating inflammatory digestive disorders, to improve mouth health, to protect brain and have a number of other benefits [R, R, R, R, R, R].

And just so that you’d be aware and could potentially reduce the recommended dose if needed, signs of having a bit too much potentially will come across as either upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting [R, R, R].
Just cut back a bit if that happens. Or don’t consume it on an empty stomach if you have – best to take it with food.
Additives – Some Do Without, Some Are Problematic
Additives, in essence, are the ‘glue’ which makes about 99% of all supplements possible. Thus, although many condemn them, they, in truth, are absolutely crucial. There certainly would not be as many supplement options out there if they would not exist.
On that same note though, not all of them are desirable to have in your supplement. This is because not all of them are harmless if/when consumed.
So, it really goes without saying that you should always check them before embarking on a new supplement or let us check them for you (we’ll gladly do that for you).
In this regard, when it comes to Sports Research MCT Oil supplements the results are quite mixed.
What I found great is the fact that of these there are supplements that are actually that 1%. That 1% which do not have additives. Among those are the Sports Research Premium MCT Oil, Organic MCT Oil, Keto C8 MCT Oil, and even the MCT Oil Powder.
Then there’s also a supplement – MCT Oil Softgels – that while does have additives, have them only harmless. Among which though some would argue that there are even beneficial ones [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
But among the bunch there’s also one – Emulsified MCT Oil – that is full of nasty additives. Well, not that many but point being, it’s something you should best avoid.
Sugar in supplements will never be beneficial and will always do you a disservice in the long run, even if it’s not immediately noticeable. As for the flavors, natural flavoring can have incidental additives that can be very detrimental. In this regard, knowing Sports Research it might be rather unlikely but the possibility is still there [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].
Thus, I do believe there really is no reason to go for the Emulsified one. Moreover, because there are 5 other you can reliably choose from that won’t deteriorate your health in any way.
Does The Sports Research MCT Oil Actually Work?
It must be said that overall the supplements of Sports Research MCT Oil are pretty well perceived. Of course, there are some negative reviews out there but they are the absolute minority.
Furthermore, it’s quite unheard of that a product would not have negative reviews. It just does not happen.
At the end of the day, taking a comprehensive overlook of all that I could possibly find what regards to various reviews, it seems that on average above 95% of people who bought any of the Sports Research MCT Oil supplements were satisfied with the results they provided.
To be more exact, Sports Research MCT Oil Softgels had a staggering about above 97% success rate. The same can also be said about Sports Research Organic MCT Oil and Keto C8 MCT Oil.
Whereas when it came to Premium MCT Oil, the success rate was about nearly 95%.
On that same note, the rest two kind of deviate from this trend. In that sense, the success rate for Sports Research Emulsified MCT Oil is about 90%, which still is absolutely amazing. Yet it does pale in comparison with the 4 previously discussed ones.

However, the scarce number of reviews is what prevented me from assessing the approximate percentage of success rate. As to why it might be, I believe the MCT Oil Powder is a relatively new product so the reviews haven’t had time to pile up yet.
As regards the success rate, it’s worth mentioning that people are generally more eager to leave a negative review than a positive one. Thus, the actual success rate of any respective MCT Oil product of Sports Research might be even higher.
I mean they overall are just bonkers. I don’t think I know any supplement (or supplement group/brand) that enjoys such high ratings.
Still, there are people who don’t find benefits in them. Why is that?
Well, the reasons might be many and will highly vary for different people. In that sense, the most common reasons might be irregular use and poor diet choices as there is no supplement in existence that is this miracle type of drug.
And thus, being such there is not a supplement yet invented (and I doubt there will ever be) that has the capacity to offset all of your bad health choices and decisions.
Final Thoughts On Sports Research MCT Oil
I mean the success rates of the Sports Research MCT Oil are pretty obvious signs that the supplements will not disappoint you (I’m sorry, 3-5% of people!).
Good amounts of MCT oils, more often than not no additives, high overall ingredient quality, a plethora of potentially positive effects.
