Nature Made TripleFlex Review – A Likely Cure Or A F*ck Up?

Overview  |  Key Ingredients & Amounts  |  Effectiveness  |  Additives  |  Conclusions  |

In this Nature Made TripleFlex Review, we will look into everything there is worth knowing about all three TripleFlex supplements – the Nature MadeTripleFlex Triple Strength, Triple Strength with Vitamin D3, and 50+.

To consider and evaluate these we will take a solid look at every single claim made for them. And we’ll supplement that with an in-depth analysis of all of the ingredients, including additives, as well as we’ll assess the success rate of every single one of them.

Nature Made TripleFlex Review – The Overview

According to the manufacturer, Nature Made TripleFlex supplements are supplements that are based around 3 core ingredients to primarily improve joint health and ensure comfort, mobility, and flexibility.

Nature Made TripleFlex ReviewOverall the description pages of any respective supplement are rather abundant in their contents.

We are offered information on key insights, dosage, supplement facts, supplement interactions, and product details. Additionally, they provide also a FAQs section and a quality section.

What I like about Nature Made description pages is that they tend to not claim anything. They rather explain the potential benefits and express the notion of no two people being alike. Thus, for some this may help, for some, it may not.

In that sense, while the contents between the supplements differ slightly and the specifics of the potential benefits differ too, they are all said to be of the core to improving your joint health.

Ultimately, they also very iconically display their quality pledge that goes along these lines. The supplements are guaranteed to meet their high-quality standards – they are made from carefully selected ingredients under strict manufacturing processes.

On top of all that, there are, of course, also a couple of ‘free of’ claims associated with all of the supplements. These include No Artificial Flavors, No Preservatives, No Yeast or Gluten, and No Synthetic Dyes.

Overall, I have to admit that it does seem very solid.

But let’s see what it’s really about.

Every Reason To Be Extremely Beneficial For Joints

So there are three Nature Made TripleFlex supplements – the Triple Strength (Original), the Triple Strength with Vitamin D, and the TripleFlex 50+ version. As I did mention earlier, the ingredients do differ slightly but all in all the core stays the same no matter what.

Nature Made TripleFlex Review – Triple Strength Ingredients (Supplement Facts)Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength offers three beneficial substances Glucosamine Hydrochloride, Chondroitin Sulfate, and Methylsulfonylmethane (also known as MSM).

The first of the three you’ll find in amounts of 1.5 grams or 1500 milligrams, the second is of 800 milligrams, whereas the very last one is all about amounts of 750 milligrams per every two capsules of the supplement.

Nature Made TripleFlex Review – Triple Strength With Vitamin D Ingredients (Supplement Facts)When it comes to the second alternative – the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength with Vitamin D3 – it’s the exact same beneficial ingredient-wise besides the added vitamin D part.

Meaning, in this one you get Glucosamine Hydrochloride in amounts of 1500 milligrams, Chondroitin Sulfate in amounts of 800 milligrams, and MSM in amounts of 750 milligrams, plus the addition of 2000 IU vitamin D3.

What regards to vitamin D3, it’s worth noting that this vitamin is of the most beneficial and helpful vitamin D form. Mainly because it’s that same form that our bodies produce from sunlight [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Nature Made TripleFlex Review – 50 Plus Ingredients (Supplement Facts)So, all in all, these two supplements are remarkably similar. It’s not, however, the case when it comes to Nature Made TripleFlex 50+.

This one’s slightly different in a sense that it does not contain any MSM but it does include Calcium (which in part is in a very ineffective form, thus, there arguably is not much to gain, moreover the tradeoff, in essence, far from worth it) [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

This 50+ version contains the same amounts of Glucosamine Hydrochloride and Chondroitin Sulfate (1500 mg and 800 mg), which is improved by 200 milligrams of Calcium (in the forms of Calcium Citrate & Calcium Carbonate) and 750 IU vitamin D3.

While it all looks good on the paper (label), what about the actual benefits of the main ingredients?

Well, Glucosamine is the beneficial side of the chemical compound of Glucosamine Sulfate. It is a substance that naturally occurs in both animal and human tissues. While it is primarily recognized for developing and maintaining cartilage within our joints, it does also serve as a building block for different kinds of other stuff as well [R, R, R, R, R].

Glucosamine Sulfate Can Immensely Benefit Your JointsConsequently, the consumption of Glucosamine can potentially result in healthier joints and help cure arthritis in a natural way. Additionally, it is also known for bettering digestive health, decreasing inflammation and lessening bone pain [R, R, R, R, R].

Chondroitin is a natural compound very similar to Glucosamine. It is also involved in the body’s production and maintenance of healthy cartilage [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Or to be more exact, it works in a way of adding lubrication and flexibility to stiff or damaged tissues and joints [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Thus, again a substance that is extremely important for a solid foundation of joint health. Additionally, it can also foster skin health and wound healing, as well as help with injury and exercise recovery. And obviously, it can also help fight off or ease various joint-related conditions, like Arthritis [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

What’s more, both of these (Chondroitin and Glucosamine) have been shown to be even more effective when taken together (though the overall message of their beneficialness is a pretty mixed one) [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

MSM Is Also Great For Speeding Up Recovery Times After ExerciseMSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is yet another naturally occurring substance found in all three – plants, animals, and humans. But overall it does seem potentially to be more beneficial than any of the previous two [R, R, R, R, R].

This one is known not only for decreasing joint pain and Arthritis symptoms but also for improving digestive and skin health, as well as having anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting properties, having Glutathione (“Mother Of All Antioxidants”) levels increasing properties, speeding up muscle recovery after exercise, and boosting overall immunity among other benefits [R, R, R, R, R].

Thus, all in all, an abundance of potential benefits.

But do they translate to reality?

Let’s look at that next.

Will The Nature Made TripleFlex Do The Trick (Work)?

Oh, yes, it will! Well, it should, in most cases anyway.

The success rates for the Nature Made TripleFlex supplements are not exactly perfect, however, they are pretty great nonetheless.

Taking a comprehensive look at all of the customer reviews that I could possibly find on the internet, it revealed that every single one of the Nature Made TripleFlex supplements enjoys a success rate that is above 91%.

Nature Made TripleFlex Supplements Have Every Reason To Help You Get Your Joints Back

And it could be even higher than that as people typically tend to report negative experiences way brisker than the positive ones.

Concerning the success rate, there is one more thing that is worth remembering.

There is no such product in existence that does not enjoy at least some negative comments or claims. Nor it is in the case with supplements nor with any other products out there.

Thus, all the negative reviews are a perfectly common phenomenon.

But the fact that they constitute less than 9% of all the customer reviews is absolutely marvelous and pretty much beyond doubt proves that these supplements truly work and help people.

I mean, there are many drugs out there that do not have as high of a success rate.

Some Of The Additives Won’t Be In Your Best Interest

There is, however, one huge difference between such drugs and these kinds of supplements – the additives.

Many drugs use notorious and, in essence, extremely harmful additives. Whereas, while additives are somewhat unavoidable in supplements like the Nature Made TripleFlex, they must not be harmful to get all the beneficial substances across.

That said, this is not the story for all of the Nature Made TripleFlex supplements as every single one of them enjoys a different list of additives.

So, let’s go over each one of them.

The original product – the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength – is your best option additive-wise.

This supplement uses inactive ingredients like Hypromellose, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Inulin, and added natural colors.

Of these, Silicon Dioxide and Magnesium Stearate are of a completely harmless nature. There are people who would definitely object to calling Magnesium Stearate harmless, however, a deep and exhaustive dive in all of the available research shows that harmless is its actual game [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Of the 5 of them, Hypromellose and Inulin could be considered harmless. However, their true nature actually adds to our health. Thus, there is no reason at all to not deem them beneficial. On that same note though, the last additive – natural colors are worth a small discussion [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

In regards to those, it’s important to understand that just because a color is deemed natural, this does not guarantee its harmlessness. Furthermore, the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength (nor the other supplements) does not specify what are the exact origins of these natural colors. Thus, there probably is a combination of those [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

There Probably Is A Cocktail Of Colors In The SupplementDepending on the natural colors used for some people, they may let you know of their presence by manifesting themselves pretty violently.

For example, if you ever encounter dizziness, eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritation, weakness, headaches, nausea, or even irritable bowel syndrome, or any other unpleasant effects while using these supplements those probably are allergic reactions due to the added colors [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

It won’t happen for every single person but the possibility is still there. Thus, while most people will not experience any negative side effects, in case you do, it’s best to move on to another supplement.

Continuing the additive discussion, when it comes to the rest of the two Nature Made TripleFlex supplements, they are really not worth it.

There are a lot of shady additives there with the shadiest of them all at the forepart – Polysorbate 80.

Polysorbate 80 (In Europe known as E433) is a synthetic compound used in supplements, medicine, foods, and vaccines. In supplements supposedly it’s used to take advantage of the improved pill dispersion in the stomach or improved consistency for the capsules [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

However, there are a lot of different unpleasant side effects associated with this substance. Some examples include coughing, stomach pain, irritation, severe allergic reactions manifesting in a variety of violent ways, as well as there are other concerns [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Thus, it really goes without saying that whenever you can and the circumstances do not absolutely force you to, you have to avoid the Polysorbate 80 (as well as any other Polysorbates) if your well-being and best health is of any importance to you.

One Of The 3 May Serve You Well But There Are Other Options

While all three discussed supplements are capable of providing benefits for joint health improvement (as well as some other benefits), you shouldn’t just go with any one of them.

This is mostly due to the presence of potentially very harmful additives.

Thus, at the end of the day, the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength is the superior version of the Nature Made TripleFlex brand. It’s both as harmless as they come while offering marvelous potential benefits through the core ingredients.

In that sense, some may be hesitant to go with it due to the lack of vitamin D that the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength with Vitamin D3 provides. But don’t be as there are many infinite times better singular vitamin D supplements if this vitamin is truly what you are longing.

As for the Nature Made TripleFlex 50+ it does offer additional Calcium but it is the tradeoff for MSM, which is absolutely not worth it. Furthermore, that Calcium is in not that of effective forms. Thus, any benefit will be excruciatingly minor. Moreover, there are many tremendously more effective singular supplements for this mineral out there.

Ultimately, if even the unlikely harms of natural colors are too much for you in the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength – great alternatives (and arguably more effective ones) for improved joint health are Turmeric supplements like this one (general) or this one (vegan).

Above all, I hope this Nature Made TripleFlex review of all three TripleFlex supplements helped you find the information you were looking for.

    • Hey, John!

I’m pretty sure they use to have a section mentioning this on each of the product pages. But they’ve changed them up quite recently. So, I took it to their FAQs.

It turns out that most of the Nature Made supplements are manufactured in South California and Alabama. Just a few are created overseas.

      Cheers,
      Matiss

      P. S. My apologies for being so slow with the response. :)

  1. Thanks a bunch. This helped a lot. Just curious, Tumeric over Triple flex for over all joint health or is taking both better?

    • Hey, D’Jean!

      I’m glad this was helpful.

Well, personally, I would start with the Turmeric one. I would give it a month or ideally two. And then see how I feel. And then decide. If I’d want more kick out of it or just experiment with it a bit as to where it might take me, I would add that Triple Strength as well.

Whatever your call, the substances in a Turmeric Curcumin supplement and in that Triple Strength one will be complementary.

In time, if you get a chance, D’Jean, let me know how it goes (and what you ended up trying). I’ll love to hear from you.

      P. S. I updated the Turmeric recommendation. The previous one is still great but the one I linked now, I believe is slightly better.

  2. I love this article a lot as it provides a deeply great insight into the Nature Made Tripleflex supplements.

Although I am not a big fan of supplements, I do have a friend that is crazy about them. And the craziest thing is that she just consume them all without bothering to do a research on their components and ingredients. Because of that, I take it upon myself to do that assignment for her instead.

I would advise her to go for the Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength and pass on the other two as I have seen clearly from this review that those are not harmless because of the additive concerns.

  3. Yes, from what I know, Methylsulfonylmethane has been confirmed to be more beneficial than Chondroitin, glucosamine and also their combination. I have read about them separately and I understand what each one can offer. MSM is a naturally occurring substance which can be used for curing or reducing any symptoms of arthritis and joint pain. Some researchers also confirmed this substance to work as anti-inflammatory substance and anti-oxidant. Although this is my first time of hearing about Nature Made TripleFlex brand and its supplements, they definitely have the right idea. This was an amazing review that helped me learn so many useful facts. Well done! And thank you!

  4. I will be testing this Nature Made TripleFlex next month. I have this problem in my back that I suspect as Scoliosis, I got this through my bad posture at work (computing). Maybe this can help relieve the pain in my back and of course, counter the effect of caffeine which is known to lower the level of calcium in our bones. Although the real solution for my problem is physical therapy, I will take this chance of using supplementation, maybe this can help.

  5. Thank you for the review about TripleFlex supplements. I think if the success rate is above 91%, that can be very promising. You are right no product exists which is reviewed only positively. The best thing for me is that it is acknowledged that different people are different so something might work for you but at the same time be useless for me. So no false promises in advance. Any product might have side effects you don’t know in advance. Can addictives here be harmful?

    • Hey, Agnes!

I couldn’t agree with you more. We all are different so, indeed, any product may have side effects that one does not know about in advance (or may work for someone but for others not). That said, as I noted in the article, it’s best to go with the original version – Nature Made TripleFlex Triple Strength – if you do decide to try this. It has the least harmful additives (only really the natural colors may turn out to be a trouble, but otherwise it’s extremely unlikely).
As for the rest two, they have a much higher overall chance to also be detrimental in some aspect or part.

Cheers, and have a Great One!

  6. Thank you for writing such an informative post on Nature Made Triple Flex. As a runner, when I am training for a marathon, it is very harsh for my knees and I suffer from knee pain. It’s a price to pay for every runner.

I always aim for natural and organic when it comes to my supplements. However, the natural one takes quite sometimes for me to see the result. I am taking turmeric and black pepper, that took me about 3 months to see the result but I still take it just for my health sake. I am currently using Schiff product but after reading your review I will give Nature Made a try. Will let you know how it goes, I am sure it will take about a month or 2 to see the result as well. Thanks!

    • Hey, Nuttanee!

I’m happy you liked the article and that you found it informative.
There’s a whole different idea behind these Nature Made TripleFlex supplements. Moreover, given that it does not use Turmeric to improve joint health, you could try taking both simultaneously as it may improve your chances of benefiting.

Other than that, I have to share that if you do stick with Turmeric it would be best to give up that Shiff Turmeric and try something else. Reason being, I have come across it in the past and I must conclude that it’s not very good when compared to the other options out there.
Something like the NatureWise Curcumin or the Nutrigold Turmeric Curcumin Gold (vegan) will work infinite times better.

Definitely let me know how it goes. :)

  7. That is a lot to put into one article, very informative, I use to be big on taken supplements when I was working out in the military, my question is this – what is the full nutrition value of Triple Flex? I understand it is for people who are 50+ but I would like to know how it compares up to other lead brands like Men’s One a Day or other examples to help an analytical person such as myself.

    Reply
    • Hey, Sebastian!

      I appreciate the kind words.
      Here’s the full typical nutrition value – 0 Calories, Total Fat 0g (0%), Saturated Fat 0g (0%), Trans Fat 0g (0%), Cholesterol 0mg (0%), Sodium 75mg (3%), Total Carbohydrate 0g (0%), Dietary Fiber 0g (0%), Sugars 0g, Protein 0g, Vitamin A 0 IU (0%), Vitamin C 0mg (0%), Calcium 0mg (0%), Iron 0mg (0%).

TripleFlex is both for people under and above 50 years of age.
It does not really compare to Men’s One a Day. Mainly because Men’s One a Day is a multivitamin supplement that is all about providing vitamins and minerals. Neither of the TripleFlex supplements is about that. They are about providing people with the 2-3 beneficial substances that have been shown to among other benefits improve health.

I hope clears up a thing or two.

Cheers, and have a Great One!

I think it will be a good idea for my Mom and Dad to try it out. What do you think?

Both my parents have Diabetes and High Blood Pressure. Do you think using Nature Made TripleFlex will be suitable for them?

Given they are experiencing joint pain, I’d say it will.
As far as I know, caution should be exercised if they’re using any anti-diabetic drugs. So, definitely make sure they consult their health practitioner before advancing on this.

  9. This is good information for me. If TripleFlex can strengthen our joints and are addictive free. It has more advantages than many other healing medicines. I like that it contains a good amount of vitamin D which is necessary for our bones and joints. Can anyone buy it or does it need prescriptions?

  10. Hi

I really enjoyed reading your review of TripleFlex as it is well written and cover all the aspects.  The ingredients seem to be standard in nature but at higher concentrations. The role of the 3 main ingredients in joint protection is well understood, but once the damage is so severe I doubt if TripleFlex will help. I see it as more of a preventive treatment than something which can reverse joint wear.

I have a question what do you recommend for people who suffer from arthritis and suffer from a seafood allergy?

    Thank you!

Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot. And I appreciate it.
It’s definitely way easier to prevent than to treat (cancer is a great example). However, I feel our bodies and minds have an incredible innate capacity for healing itself when they are provided with the right nutrients and substances. That said, there probably is still a point no return. Thus, I personally feel it might highly depend from case to case.

An amazing alternative, maybe even a better, more effective alternative altogether is Turmeric. If you or anyone else reading this is interested I feel the best bet is to check out either of these two supplements – NatureWise CurcuminNatureWise Curcumin & Nutrigold Turmeric Curcumin Gold (vegan).

  11. This is a very interesting article.  I have personally never been a fan of supplements.  I had always found the subject to be somewhat overwhelming… having said that I am 29 years old and beginning to struggle with joint pain in my fingers.

My Doctor recommended I try glucosamine and offered some other supplements that might help.  Problem is, I’d find myself buying and consuming at times 3 different supplements.  All the more reason I have negative connotations about it to begin with.

After reading your article I am absolutely going to give the Nature Made Tripleflex Extra Strength a shot.  It basically incorporates all the supplements I have been taking into one individual supplement.  This is going to be way easier on my wallet and my limited scope on topics like this.

Thanks for all the helpful advice.  Cheers!
