In essence, here you’ll have the possibility to request a review on any supplement in existence. Anything you’d like to know more of, anything you assume is good, but would like to get more details of.
There are no limits to this. Absolutely any supplement that is of your interest or has been on your mind, I’ll be happy to, to the very least, provide all of the key information and analysis on.
My only ask to you is to leave a comment below this post and share the three things below.
What Is The Supplement That You Want The Review On?
Here try to be as specific as possible – add its full name, drop a link to Amazon, or any other major online reseller. Make sure that I can exactly pinpoint the supplement that you want the review on.
Many times there are seemingly very similar supplements that do, however, have some significantly diverse additives (classically, it’s the case when comparing tablet version and capsule version).
Other times you can also find differences between essentially the same supplements, but one is of 60 capsules while the other 120 capsules.
And there can be other seemingly insignificant variations of the supplement that although are small, yet change everything. So, just be aware of this. And let me know.
Here’s the second one.
Where Are You From?
In regards to this one, I don’t want your specific address or anything. All I’d like is that you give us a general idea of where you’re from. Because I would love to learn more about the specific audience most involved with our mission.
You can give your residing city or country, or both. If you’re okay with doing that, I’d highly appreciate it. But do what feels most appropriate to you at this time.
Meaning, if you’re uncomfortable with just that, feel free to just name your residing continent. And I’ll take it as well. :)
And here’s the last one.
Why You’re After A Review On This Specific Supplement?
Everything will work here. Just be honest.
My father uses this, I’d like to know more; my spouse bought this for me yesterday; I have been thinking about buying it; I’d like to give this to someone for his/her birthday; I’ve heard it’s good, but I’d like to know more in-depth about it; I got this for free at a local store; I’ve been taking this for years now, I’d like to know if it’s actually good for me; and so on.
There are no ridiculous or foolish reasons. Make up a name for yourself if that puts you more at ease (which feel free to do anyway if that’s more appropriate for you).
You are also extremely welcome to share a story of yours on why you’d like a certain supplement review if you feel like it. All are truly welcome, the more involved you’ll be with the why – the more involved I’ll be.
The only other thing is that since my time is not unlimited, I will be prioritizing and typically creating full in-depth reviews that have search volume. Which essentially just means that I will be focusing on those supplements that other people are seeking extended information on, too.
As for all the rest, generally (but exceptions can happen), I will do my best to cover just the most important, deciding, key aspects with my answer to the comment. And another thing I can absolutely promise is that I will get back to 100% of the comments left.
So, which supplement would you like to get a review on and why?
Hi Matiss,
I was wondering if you could do a general review of brain/cognitive function supplements? Even if it’s just “these are all bogus and here’s why” would be amazing. There are so many brands promoting things that are supposed to help with mood, memory, focus, etc. which sounds… great! But only if they work. I don’t know if this is too vague a request, but I’m honestly overwhelmed with information and I’m struggling to think of examples right now. I know I’ve seen all kinds of amino acids, fish oil, zinc, magnesium, B vitamins, and all kinds of blends of things. Sorry if that’s still too vague! But your reviews have been so helpful to me, I figured no harm in asking. I’m in Indianapolis, IN. :)
Thanks in advance!
https://www.silverfernbrand.com/ I’m seeing these everywhere. It says 100 percent survivability and has a lot of fancy claims.
I’m in Michigan.
I’d like you to review this because I thought about trying it but like most, it’s expensive.
I’ve been trying to find a good healthy way to take supplemental calcium. I thought I found one in New Chapter, but after reading your review I think not. I’m perplexed as I don’t want to set up conditions for calcium to migrate to soft tissues which could instigate a heart attack. I wonder if we’re better off taking something like liquid calcium citrate & adding the missing ingredients.
Hi, Louise from New Mexico here–just found your blog and appreciate the thorough reviews. A couple questions for you that have arisen as my family tries to navigate supplements in the covid era. For general health, we’re prioritizing quality protein sources (especially collagen), omega-3s, probiotics, and a multi, with extra calcium and vitamin D. For covid, we’ve done a deep dive into the FLCCC protocol and corresponding supplements. From all this hubbub…the following questions:
1) Thoughts on taking a multi with beta-carotene only and supplementing with Bluebonnet Vitamin A (fish liver oil) and cod liver oil once a week or so? Also, do you have any familiarity with research suggesting negative impacts of synthetic vitamin A (e.g. retinyl palmitate)? I’ve read through some of your pieces on Vitamin A but found myself still with questions. Hope I’m not duplicating a question already in your forums.
2) I would also love any feedback regarding a couple vitamins put out by Woodstock vitamins. The first is a multi, the second a calcium/magnesium supplement:
https://www.woodstockvitamins.com/products/coenzyme-multi-120-capsules
https://www.woodstockvitamins.com/products/calcium-hydroxyapatite-mg-and-vitamin-d-120-capsules-1
3) Lastly, some vitamin C doubts. It seems that liposomal vitamin C has some absorption benefits over ‘regular’ but had questions about brand. Also, for the average Joe, is there a brand of ‘regular’ that you’d recommend and/or recs about ideal source and dosage. (I’ve read that the body can’t absorb more than ~200 mg of vit C in a dose, so there’s not much to be gained by mega dose 1000mg capsules??)
* Dr. Mercola brand of liposomal C – I’ve read comments and the review by LivOn labs that claims it’s misleading in how it’s marketing and isn’t really providing the full benefits of liposomal C…not sure what to belief
https://www.livonlabs.com/liposome-encapsulated/pdf/Livon-Review-of-Dr-Mercola-Liposomal-Vitamin-C.pdf
* Emerald Pure Way-C – https://store.emeraldlabs.com/products/vitamin-c-pureway-c
* Synergy Vitamin C – https://cymbiotika.com/products/vitamin-c
I’ve thrown a lot at you, but I appreciate any and all clarifications you might be able to give. Thanks, and take care.
Dear Matiss,
Thank you for all your research. It’s so hard to know which Turmeric is the best to take. I began with Standard Process Turmeric Forte because I was taking some of their other supplements and I was taken in by their claims that the way they grew it made it more bioavailable. Here is the link: https://www.standardprocess.com/products/turmeric-forte
I have tried several different kinds but none really seemed as good as the Standard Process brand. I will, however, try your suggested CurcuWIN. Please review the Standard Process and let me know if it is just snake oil.
Thanks and God bless you.
Rava
Hey, Rava!
At the first glance, I think it looks rather decent. It uses a Curcumin formulation similar to CurQfen. But even with their promised absorption level (24.8-fold increase), it’s still some 6 times less capable than CurcuWIN (which provides a 136-fold increase in absorption).
Anyway, I will be doing a full-on review on the Standard Process Turmeric Forte. I’ll try to do it for tomorrow. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Hi Matiss,
Apologies if I replied to the incorrect post. Was attempting to create a new request with no luck, so hoping you get this either way.
I am from Australia and have found that the market is saturated with Collagen supplements, and it is extremely difficult to decipher which will work and is also value for money.
I am after a marine collagen product (Type 1 and 3 are best if I am not mistaken?) and possibly with Vit C as this can help absorption.
I am currently taking Vida Glow, 2 scoops a day on an empty stomach. I am 42 years of age and am looking for a product to assist specifically with skin & anti-ageing:
https://ausnz.vidaglow.com/products/natural-marine-collagen-powder-270g-original
I am happy to consider other products if they are superior and would love you opinion if you can kindly review.
Many thanks for your honest approach to supplements,
Paula
Hey, Paula!
My apologies for not managing to get back to you sooner. I’ve been having trouble adjusting to my new day job due to workload, hence less time for the website.
No, this is the correct one. And I absolutely feel you. As for vitamin C, as far as I’m aware, it doesn’t actually help with absorption. It helps with the natural Collagen production but I feel that’s something a bit different.
As for that Vida Glow, I didn’t find there to be any global search for it, so I will probably not do a full-on review on it. That said, here is what I think about it.
I have to say that I can’t actually access the link you left. There must be some territorial restrictions regarding that. But I managed to work my way around that more or less.
So, generally speaking, it looks like a solid supplement. I mean, they do in-house testing for purity, they sustainably source it, and it’s a powder without any extra additions that could bite back in the form of side effects.
That being said, there are at least three aspects I don’t like about it.
First, the fact that they in-house test it is good. But for marine products (be it Fish Oil, Collagen, etc.), I think that the importance of third-party testing can’t be overstated. I mean, Fish pick up so much junk in terms of pollution. Thus, the way I see it, taking a product that’s not properly purified is more detrimental than not taking one at all, regardless of the health benefits it supposedly offers.
And personally, I never truly recommend marine products that don’t get third-party tested reliably.
Second, I don’t like that they source it from farm-raised fish. That’s an inherent problem, the way I see it. I mean, as far as I’m educated in this space, farm-raised fish is one of the most toxic foods there is. It’s kind of like a regular commercial cow which is fed loads of anti-biotics to not die because all it eats is GMO Corn or GMO Soy. Only farm-raised fish is worse.
Third, I don’t really get why they are recommending just one serving given that there are only 3 grams of Collagen there. That’s not a lot of Collagen even if we go for their maximum recommended dose of 3 servings. I mean, 10 grams should be the minimum if we want really the full range of benefits. To that end, 3 grams won’t really do anything significant.
Yeah, so, personally, I would pass on this one.
If Marine Collagen is what you would prefer, there are at least three amazing options out there. Truvani (review) has a really great one but it’s rather expensive. And then Landish (review) and Genuine Health (review) have awesome and very affordable products.
All of them are just the highest quality stuff while also being third-party tested. I mean, you really can’t go wrong with either one of them.
I hope this helps. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Thank you so much Matiss for your thoughts and recommendations.
Have you come across any research (not funded by supplement companies) that suggests that collagen supplements work for the skin? Would you prefer to recommend a marine over a bovine?
Apologies for the broad range questions … but I am also taking vitamins C, Zinc and D3 for general immunity. I tend to reach for Fusion Health brand https://www.fusionhealth.com.au/
Is there a product or combination of products for immunity that you would highly recommend for adults and also the same for children?
Thanks again,
Paula
Hey, Matiss! I’m looking into taking a multivitamin my mom recently recommended and wondering if you would review it for me. It is Bluebonnet Nutrition Ladies ONE™ Whole-Food Based Multiple.
Here is a link: https://www.vitacost.com/bluebonnet-nutrition-ladies-one-whole-food-based-multiple-60-vegetable-capsules
Thank you so much!
Val, who recently moved from California to Texas
Hey, Val!
Since it doesn’t have any global search, I won’t be making a full-on review for the time being for it. But here’s what I think about it in the nutshell.
I think it’s all best summarized by the fact that I will consider this adding to the best-of list update for 2022.
So, it’s got decent amounts of vitamins for 100% Daily Values (or reasonably above). It’s also very thorough with its minerals. I like the fact that it adds both forms of vitamin A. I like that it uses almost always quality forms for those vitamins and minerals (which just means that they will be easy for our bodies to absorb and benefit from). I like that it has Iron. And I like the other beneficial substances as well.
Then, on top of that, it has good additives. So, there shouldn’t be any problems regarding potential side effects.
I also like that it’s Non-GMO.
I mean, all in all, it feels very good.
If I had to point to a negative, vitamin B5 is likely the synthetic version. Which is plenty less helpful than its natural counterpart. But, that’s a minor thing considering everything else that this Bluebonnet Nutrition cares to add. I love that it has proper vitamin B6, B9, and B12. That’s rare with multivitamins. Only the really quality ones has these forms.
I appreciate the find. :)
Cheers, and I hope it helps! :)
Matiss
Thank you so much!!
You’re very welcome. :)
Hi Matiss,
Hope you’re well.
I am wondering what you think about this Turmeric product compared to your other favorite Turmeric products?
https://www.thesynergycompany.com/turmeric
https://www.thesynergycompany.com/blog/are-you-getting-all-you-can-from-your-turmeric-supplement
Thanks very much!
Mike
Hey, Mike!
I’m sorry for taking forever to get back to you. I hope you’re doing great. :)
Personally, I really like the Synergy Company as a brand. I know they have some pretty dope supplements.
Overall, I think this looks pretty neat. I really like the idea of Super Pure. I like that it’s Organic and I like that it takes kind of a more comprehensive look at what the Turmeric supplement is. Because many (like the 95% Curcuminoids options plus Black Pepper) are all about Curcuminoids but this Synergy option also digs into the Turmerones. Which is awesome.
Whether it is better than something like the CurcuWIN or Longvida options, that’s a good question.
One way to look at it would be to compare those estimates of what would be the equivalent of freshly harvested Turmeric rhizomes. I mean, for the SuperPure (500-milligram capsule), they claim it to be 100,000 milligrams which sounds bonkers and is absolutely fascinating. But to do the math, for CurcuWIN (500-milligram capsule), that would likely be about 2.15 million milligrams (95% Curcuminoids instead of 3% what’s found in raw Turmeric augmented by 136 improved absorbability).
So, I would doubt that it’s better. But I will do some more digging. I appreciate the suggestion, Mike. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Hello Matiss,
Joe from SNELLVILLE, GA
PRODUCT: https://www.nopalea.com/science/
Generally, I want to know how effective ” Nopalea” is, as a product category, when it comes to addressing inflammation VS. Omega 3, Turmeric, glucosamine sulfate, MSM, type products. ( I take omega 3 and tumeric product types, but for more than the inflammation benefits.) If you would comment on Nopalea, in general, that would be great. Not asking for a complete comparison of all anti-inflammation products. You can do that at a later date. ?
That said, the specific product review request is for this nopalea brand: https://www.nopalea.com/science/. The product page includes some double-blind studies. Not sure of the purity, testing, manufacturing process, etc. Looking for best products to reduce inflammation in general.
Side issue: can you consume “too much” Tumeric or 0mega 3 or Nopalea, (anti-inflammation products), over a long period of time? Meaning, are there any known long term side effects with long term use?
Thanks Matiss. I know I’m asking a lot here. You can address separately if you prefer. Again THANK YOU for being a valuable “GO TO” person for me & my wife’s supplemental health product needs.
Hey, Joe!
Some time ago I actually crafted a well-thought-out answer for you. But as it sometimes happens, I successfully lost all of it. I should have backed it up but what can you do. At least I have a new process for how I prepare and answer to comments now. So, that I have a backup if things go sideways. :)
So, here’s another attempt at what I think about. I’m sorry it took such a long to get back to you.
I’m glad you brought my awareness to Nopalea. I actually hadn’t encountered it before. But I love the idea of what it is about. Bioflavonoids. And that stuff’s like Turmeric. You can’t have too much of it. Literally. I mean, Omega-3 we can have too much. There is such a thing.
With Turmeric, studies have failed to identify a threshold. Namely, they did a dose escalation (increase) study in which they stopped at 12 grams of Curcuminoids daily because it was starting to get physically hard to get so much down. But they found no side effects still. Hence, Turmeric is believed to only be capable of being helpful respectively of the dose.
But Bioflavonoids are not 1000% beneficial it seems. They can backfire if used in too large doses. But how much is too much; that’s beyond me. I’m still to find a study that clearly indicates that. But it seems to be that at least 5 grams is likely perfectly safe [R, R, R].
But in time, I will be looking more into it. I hope this bit helps. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Dear Matiss,
I stumbled across your forum and was very excited to read your reviews of products and I have learned a lot. I was wondering I am taking a product I like very well compared to many I have tried in the past. I was wondering how this probiotic would compare to the one you had highlighted as being a good one to buy. It is Gives Health Wholesome Probiotics. I am working hard on my health and trying to make sure I am taking one that is beneficial for me.
Hey, Dotty!
It seems that more in-depth information on this is being searched for globally.
Hence, I will write a full-on review on this one. Stay-tuned. I’ll try to do it within a week. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Hello Matiss,
Could you be so kind to make a review of the following supplement.
Ultamins, Men’s Multivitamin with CoQ10, Mushrooms, Enzymes, Veggies & Berries, 60 Veggie Capsules
( https://no.iherb.com/pr/ultamins-men-s-multivitamin-with-coq10-mushrooms-enzymes-veggies-berries-60-veggie-capsules/96380 )
I read your reviews with great interest here from the city of Bergen in Norway.
This looks like a great supplement at first glance I am therefore very interested in your take on it. From what i can see it has a little bit of everything with a great price on it.
Cheers
Best regards
Christian
Hey, Christian!
Sorry for not managing to get back to you sooner. I hope you’re doing great. :)
Generally speaking, I think this is a fine supplement. I mean, I wouldn’t put it among the best ones but it feels rather solid. I like that it has third-party testing. I like that it’s Non-GMO. I like the additional substances. It has good amounts of nutrients most of the time. And from time to time, they come in quality forms.
But then, I don’t like vitamin D; the one it offers is useless. Vitamin B6 and B9 are suboptimal forms (hard to absorb). Vanadium might be a bit too much. Not sure about Modified Cellulose as an additive either.
Overall, definitely, I do think that it’s a fine option.
I hope that helps, cheers.
Matiss
Hey, Matiss! I am looking into taking Collagen Peptides and wanted to know if you would review “Livingood Daily Collagen + Multi” as compared to Live Conscious Collagen Peptides. Thank you so much!
Hey, Dawn!
In time, I will probably add sections to supplement reviews where I directly compare any given supplement in its entirety to the reviewed one. Also, it doesn’t have any global search, thus I won’t be doing a full review for the time being. But here are some key insights.
Overall, I really like the product. I like that they are so much about quality and that they do third-party testing. Their Collagen sourcing also seems pretty okay (being Non-GMO, Grass-Fed). And those additions of vitamins and minerals definitely feel pretty great, too. And it uses only the best of additives which is always a great thing. To that end, it feels like a genuinely awesome supplement. That said, there are a few things I’m not thrilled with.
For example, it doesn’t claim to be Hormone-Free. But that’s a very important thing to have. In fact, Grass-Fed doesn’t guarantee Hormone-Free. But Hormone-Free is the stuff we want, too.
Another thing is those vitamins and minerals. Yes, I like the general idea. However, they make the supplement pretty incompatible with a separate multivitamin supplement (due to some of the vitamins being present in rather high amounts). Whereas if that’s the case, the way I see it, it should be enough to replace one. But it isn’t as it doesn’t have the diversity necessary.
On that note, yes, it can work. And the quality is great. Personally, I just wouldn’t get it.
And so, if we have to compare it to the Live Conscious option. Live Conscious has Hormone-Free. Live Conscious is also not built in a way to make it incompatible with a separate multivitamin. And so, while superficially the fact that it doesn’t have any meaningful amount vitamins or minerals may seem like a flaw, I believe it isn’t one. It’s just a different way of going about it.
A way that I would prefer much over what the Livingood Daily Collagen + Multi has to offer.
Just my two cents, you don’t have to feel the same way, Dawn. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
Hey Matiss
Could you review Dr. Ron’s docs daily multivitamin. It looks like a great multivitamin, but it’s pricey. I’ve taken it before, but I stopped due to the price and just not being sure I was getting the best multivitamin.
Providence
RI
Hey, Shanon!
Time flies, sorry, for not managing to get back to you sooner. I hope you’re doing well.
I took a look at it. And I do get what you mean. But the context I feel is everything. Here’s what I mean.
Interestingly enough, they list how much each capsule holds, instead of how much is a serving (what we typically see on labels). With that in mind, I think it will depend on what dose you end up going for. The most optimal choice I believe would be 6 capsules. And then, it’s really, really good. Something I would even consider putting on a best-of list.
And then, of course, yes, the price is quite a bit because it means that there would only be 30 day’s worth. And for that price, I would much rather prefer Thorne Research.
But if you were to stick with 2-3 (what they recommend), I think it falls really short on some of the minerals present. I mean, it can certainly work but I wouldn’t consider it optimal. I don’t like that it doesn’t add any preformed vitamin A. I don’t like that it adds so little of Carotenoids. But I do like the nutrient forms for those vitamins and minerals (great to absorb, great to benefit) most of the time. And I do like the choices for additives.
Other than that, I really don’t get why they claim that it’s additive-free when they clearly use one. And the fact that it’s Non-GMO is always good. But overall, I would easily prefer the Dr. Mercola option over this 2-3 capsule approach.
I hope it helps!
Cheers,
Matiss
Hey Matiss
I’m new here, just been looking through the men’s beat multivitamin section.
Looking for me and my 73yr old father.
Just bought myself the Dr Mercola to try. With my dad would it be best he went for a 50+ type one or the Dr Mercola is good enough?
Also in New Zealand here we have a product that would be awesome for you to check because I’d love to see how it compares.
Here is the link
https://www.bepure.co.nz/products/bepure-one-daily-multivitamin
Thanks for all your hard work making this for us newbies ???
Hey, Josh!
Awesome to have you here. :)
I have to admit. I kind of struggled to find that 50+ version of Dr. Mercola. Or did you mean something else? But regardless, the flagship Dr. Mercola is more than fine for any age group. Personally, I don’t really look at those labels as a deciding factor. What’s most important is what it actually has inside. I mean, to illustrate, in the past, I have been doing a multivitamin for women after menopause, and I did it for quite some time. And it was awesome. So, it’s all about the ingredients.
I checked out that multivitamin you linked. Yeah, it’s not a 5-in-1 kind of supplement like what I refer to when speaking about the Dr. Mercola. But I like it. I like it a lot. It actually feels better than some of the other options I got on that conventional multivitamin list.
I mean, it has really great nutrient forms which just means that vitamins and minerals are easy for our bodies to absorb and benefit from. It has awesome additives. I also like what they add on top of all the vitamins and minerals. And it’s Non-GMO. It’s just a really solid thing. I’m not sure about the pricing since I’m not sure about the conversion rates. But if it’s not expensive, then it’s really great value.
Cheers,
Matiss
Hi
Could you review the following:
1) Votesse hair vitamin for women https://store.eclipsemed.com/votesse-womens-hair-formula-12-bottles-box/
2) Code Age Multi collagen peptides powder platinum https://www.codeage.com/collections/collagen/products/multi-collagen-protein-powder-platinum-biotin-keratin-vitamin-hyaluronicacid
3) Code Age Hair Vitamins https://www.codeage.com/products/hair-vitamins-keratin-biotin-collagen
4) Also do you recommend any protein powders? Do you review those?
Thank You,
Sam
Hey, Sam!
My apologies, I haven’t even gotten the chance to respond to your other requests yet.
I looked at that Votesse. They don’t exactly list its ingredients. So, I’ve no idea what is it about. Maybe one can get access to them if logged in but I’ve no idea. Can you help me out?
As far as I can tell, that Code Age doesn’t have any global search, hence a few core insights. In two words – looks busted. Plenty of real quality Collagen, including Hormone-Free, Grass-Fed, third-party tested. Awesome vitamin forms when it uses them, namely, great and helpful vitamins. Great Biotin amounts for extra layer of benefits to hair, skin, nails. Plus, Keratin and Hyaluronic Acid for another layer of those. And then, it’s also Non-GMO, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free.
I mean, judging by everything, this is the kind of supplement that I wouldn’t mind using myself or buying for my wife. It’s feels really, really good.
As for that Hair Vitamins, I mean, I guess Code Age has really picked up its game last when I reviewed them (I’ve done a review on their Collagen pills). I like it. I’m not sure the additives in this one because typically supplements like it can’t avoid them. Unless, of course, it is actually a powder. But they themselves tell us that it’s capsules. I’m not sure about those… Just checked – it’s Methylcellulose. So, it’s all fine.
The ingredients I like a lot. There is a lot of good stuff there. Still, I would pick a proper multivitamin together with that Powder Platinum and it will be a hundred times better. Plus, their Multi Collagen Peptides is incompatible with the Hair Vitamins, meaning, you shouldn’t use both of them at the same time because both offer 10,000 mcg of Biotin. And twice that is surely too much. As for any typical amounts of that vitamin in a solid multivitamin, it should be fine; no worries there.
As for Protein Powders, I can look into those if you would enjoy that. I haven’t reviewed them but I certainly will in the future. Do you have any particular one in mind?
Cheers,
Matiss
Hi Matiss
Here is the link to the ingredients for Votesse https://shoppremierderm.com/products/hair-health/votesse-for-women/
If you had to choose between Votesse and the Code Age Platinum Collagen Powder or Hair vitamin which would you choose? I want to use the one that would be best for hair, skin, nails, and as a multivitamin
Thanks
Sam
Thank you, Sam! I really appreciate that.
So, I had a look. From a pure vitamin-mineral perspective, the Votesse doesn’t look too convincing. I mean, I would pick a proper multivitamin over it, for sure. That said, from what I can tell, even the page you linked didn’t quite get the whole list of ingredients. Meaning, they also mention Ashwagandha, Flax Seed, L-Tyrosine, and Velvet Bean just before the ingredient list. Also, I’ve no idea what additives they cling to.
If I understood what you meant correctly, you want the one which you could use as both a thing for hair, skin, nails and multivitamin. So, if it would be limited to just one of these, I would pick the Code Age Hair Vitamins. I mean, generally speaking (some grey area here since we likely don’t have 100% of Votesse ingredients), the Votesse option could be very slightly better but it’s basically twice the price.
To that end, I believe the Votesse is a ridiculously overpriced option. But even if it was evenly priced, I would probably still pick Code Age Hair Vitamins.
All that being said, if you really want the best combination, I would make it two. Meaning, I would pick a proper multivitamin as the foundation. And then, layer on top of it the Code Age Collagen Platinum.
I believe it will work much better for what you’re after than the Code Age Hair Vitamins alone.
Whichever option you go for, I wish you all the success with it. And if you get the chance, let me know how it goes!
Cheers,
Matiss
Would you mind reviewing Primitive Scientific multi-vitamin/mineral? https://primitivescientific.com/
Thank you!
Hey, Mike!
I probably won’t be doing a full-on review on it since it doesn’t have any global search volume. That said, here are some key insights.
As a conventional multivitamin, I absolutely loved it. I mean, I believe I will updating the best-of list with it, both versions (men and women) of it actually.
It’s a very thorough supplement as far as vitamins and minerals go. It also uses very great forms/sources for these typically which just means that they will be more bioavailable, namely, helpful. Then, we’ve got all the various blends, the ingredients of which for some I encounter the first time. The Digestive Health blend looks really good. The wholefood complex is fine. Gotta love the Heart Health blend. And it also adds the Inositol which is a brain-boosting substance.
One thing I would be careful about and I haven’t researched this too much (so, take this with a grain of salt) is Lithium Orotate. Lithium can be a very harmful metal for our long-term well-being. So, before jumping in there with this, do research that aspect.
Other than that, I love the additive they use, too.
If you have any further questions or there are any other ideas you’d like to run by me, just let me know. :)
I hope this helps,
Matiss
Thank you very much, Matiss!
Sure thing, Mike! I’m always just a comment away! Cheers.
Hi
Can you also review what you think are the best protein powders and hair supplements?
Thanks

Hi
Can you review Live Conscious Beyond Collagen?
Hey, Sam!
This is something that I will certainly do quite soon. I noticed they have such a thing; I’ve been wanting to review it. Just haven’t found the time yet.
But I will do it soon. It will probably be up for Saturday’s/Sunday’s article.
Cheers,
Matiss
Hi
Can you review the following:
CODE AGE MULTI COLLAGEN PEPTIDES POWDER PLATINUM
CODE AGE HAIR VITAMINS
Can you repost or send me a copy of or a link to your 2020 review of the Garden of Life 50 & Wiser Men. I appreciate your view on it being owned by Nestle but I would like to compare your detailed analysis of it to your current top rated ones. I read it before but unfortunately did not save it and now it has scrolled off your current website and even the WayBack Machine does not have it. Chet (Boston, Ma USA)
Hey, Chet!
Sure, no problem at all. I set up the relevant excerpt from the article here: https://healthknight.com/for-chet. :)
It copies kind of funny from my archives. Hence, just the excerpt. To that end, if you ever need anything from the past, don’t hesitate to ask.
Other than that, I won’t be keeping it up forever but for a couple of weeks, it will definitely be there. If you don’t manage to see it by the time I take it down, just let me know. I’ll put it up for you for a couple of days once more.
Have a really great day!
Matiss
Hello.
I have just started, looking and starting taking some leefy organics. I am just curious if you have reviewed it or have any opinion on the supplement
Thanks
Hey, Stavros!
I somehow didn’t catch the name of the supplement the first time I read your comment. Based on the ingredients, Leefy Organics looks like a Turmeric Curcumin supplement to me. I decided that I will be doing a full-on review on it soon. So, be on a lookout. :)
Cheers,
Matiss
