Live Conscious Protein Powder Review – Organically Proper

Marketing  |  Ingredients & Additives: Vanilla Dream, Cosmic CacaoReviews  |  Pricing  |  Overall  |

According to the Live Conscious Protein Powder reviews, many customers are really hyped about the supplement. Quite a few have gone through many similar products and ended up with this one. Others went even as far as to say that this is the better tasting one when compared to the other products of this category. So, in this Live Conscious Protein Powder review, we will explore everything there is to be explored about it.

To do that properly, we’ll look at several things. As always, we’ll start it off with a look at the marketing. Then, we will research the ingredients; we’ll assess how good they are. This we’ll then continue with a look at the additives. After that, we’ll make it about customer feedback and what it has in store for us. After that, we’ll turn to the asking price to see whether it’s a fair deal.

This Live Conscious Protein Powder Review To Crack It Wide Open

According to the manufacturer, the Live Conscious Protein Powder combines “the best parts of each type of the 4 plant-based proteins in one amazing, tasty formula” to “keep all their special benefits together.” Per their words, this “will have you exploring the furthest reaches of your potential while staying mindful of the wholesome everyday health you’ve been fantasizing about.” So, it sounds great [R].

Live Conscious Protein Powder ReviewI really like how Live Conscious do their product pages. To some extent, they perfectly combine the two worlds of readability and marketing.

Meaning, it doesn’t feel heavy with all the marketing tactics, like with the Andrew Lessman Marine Collagen (review) or the Vim & Vigor Collagenate (review), despite there being a bunch of them.

So, there’s the option to subscribe and save. Plus there’s free shipping that comes with that. Then, third, customer reviews. Fourth, a 365-day money-back guarantee. Then, there are others more subtle, too. In other words, there’s plenty to help decide in favor of the Live Conscious Protein Powder.

As for the promised benefits, the main promises for the supplement of this review are improved metabolism and muscle support. Whereas others include the notion of better overall health and well-being.

As for free-of claims, it’s said to be Non-GMO, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Shellfish-Free, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Peanut-Free, Vegan, and even certified USDA Organic.

Overall, it seems that there’s plenty to love about it but is that genuine?

Ingredients And Additives Are Great Within These Supplements

There Are Actually Two Powders We Are Talking AboutYeah, I would say that that’s pretty legit. Both the beneficial ingredients and the additives suggest that. But before we really get into that, we have to take a few steps back. Because when talking about Live Conscious Protein Powder, it’s actually “powders.” Meaning, at the time of writing, there are two options.

That said, I bet more could be in the pipeline. Regardless, currently, there’s the choice between the Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream option or the Live Conscious Protein Powder Cosmic Cacao one.

So, to make this as thorough as I possibly can, we’ll be looking at both. In large part, they are the same. But there are, however, differences. Hence, to make it as easy to follow as possible, a separate section for each of the products.

Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream Review – It’s A Dream For Protein, Indeed

So, per serving (one scoop), the Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream offers 19.4 grams of Organic Vanilla Dream Protein Blend. That’s a blend that consists of unspecified amounts of Organic Yellow Pea, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Sacha Inchi Seed, and Organic Pumpkin Seed. And alongside all that, we also have 2.25 grams of Organic Tahl Gum.

Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream ReviewSo, plenty of different ingredients. Let’s break it down a little.

With these active ingredients, the Live Conscious supplement is said to be 15 grams of Protein per serving (Organic Yellow Pea is 25 grams; Organic Brown Rice is 2.6 grams; Organic Sacha Inchi Seed is 8 grams; Organic Pumpkin Seed is 19 grams). So, that’s plenty of Protein

I mean, while the science says that the best amount for muscle growth is 1.6 grams per kilogram of body weight (and to never exceed 5 grams per kilogram of body weight), I believe 15 grams is a really great amount for a supplement (as the rest is what we likely should get from diet if muscle growth is our main goal) [RR].

To that end, I think it has every reason to live beyond the promises. Meaning, to help not only with metabolism, muscle support, and overall health, but also deliver on heart health and a bunch of other aspects. Here’s a bit more on each of the ingredients.

Organic Yellow Peas are an absolutely marvelous source of plant-based protein. But it doesn’t stop there. It also has got plenty of fiber, healthy carbs, and a plethora of important nutrients. So, through all that, these can help also improve cholesterol and blood sugar levels, promote gut health and digestive system regulation, foster weight loss, and above all, aid in building muscle mass and enhancing heart health [R, R, R, R, R].

Live Conscious Protein Vanilla Dream Ingredients (Supplement Facts)

Organic Brown Rice is a very nutritious and dietary fiber-rich food. In terms of health gains, it can aid digestion, help fight obesity and manage weight loss, provide plenty of antioxidants, display neuroprotective and antidepressant properties, boost heart health,  improve cholesterol levels, and even boost energy while also bringing Methionine to the table [R, R, R, R, R, R].

Organic Sacha Inchi Seed is a highly nutritious, protein-and-Omega-3-rich, dietary-fiber-abundant food. It’s a thing that can increase energy levels, help fight cancer, diabetes, and other ill-health conditions, support gut health, aid weight loss, improve cholesterol levels, boosts brain function, promote heart health, battle inflammation, and enhance mood [R, R, R, R, R].

Organic Pumpkin Seeds are full of antioxidants, fiber and abundant in all kinds of really helpful nutrients. They can promote bladder and prostate health, foster heart health, help fight cancer, lower blood sugar levels, enhance sleep, help regulate blood pressure, as well as improve immune system health, and even support hair growth [R, R, R, R, R, R].

Then, I got to emphasize the fact that it’s all Organic which is what we want our Protein powder to be. Furthermore, it’s third-party tested to approve purity, potency, and safety. So, it’s really top-notch as far as quality goes.

There Is Himalayan Salt For Additives HereThen, we have additives. And to that end, it isn’t like what we have seen from the Live Conscious Collagen Peptides (review) or Live Conscious Beyond Collagen (review). The supplement of this review does have a number of them.

So, the Live Conscious Protein Vanilla Dream uses Natural Flavors, Organic Guar Gum, Himalayan Salt, Xanthan Gum, Organic Stevia Leaf, and Malic Acid. And some people may be repelled by the fact that this does have additives. But all of these are golden.

I mean, if anything, many of them can actually be beneficial to our health. I mean, Himalayan Salt is never a bad addition. The same goes for Stevia Leaf. Also, Xanthan Gum and Guar Gum pose no real risks whatsoever. Malic Acid is also more than fine. Lastly, Natural Flavors can actually host a ton of gains, too.

So, all in all, as far as the ingredients in the Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream go, I think it’s a rather brilliant one.

Live Conscious Protein Powder Cosmic Cacao Review – Cacao Only Further Adds To It All

With the Live Conscious Protein Powder Cosmic Cacao, it’s a rather similar story to the Vanilla Dream option. It’s got the same Organic Vanilla Dream Protein Blend, only it’s named Organic Cosmic Cacao Protein Blend in this one. But there are some other tweaks more profound in there, too.

Live Conscious Protein Powder Cosmic Cacao ReviewSo, per serving (one scoop), the Cosmic Cacao version of the supplement offers 19.4 grams of Organic Cosmic Cacao Protein Blend. It is made out of the same four ingredients, namely, Organic Yellow Pea, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Sacha Inchi Seed, and Organic Pumpkin Seed.

The difference lies in what it adds after that. Meaning, instead of 2.25 grams of Organic Tahl Gum, it adds 1.5 grams of Organic Cacao Bean and 1 gram of Organic Tahl Gum.

So, the Yellow Pea, Brown Rice, Sacha Inchi Seed, and Pumpkin Seed we did already discuss in the previous section. Now, let’s go a bit deeper on those other two.

Live Conscious Protein Cosmic Cacao Ingredients (Supplement Facts)Cacao Bean is another way of saying Cocoa Bean. Not only is it something that chocolate is made from, but also it’s an antioxidant-filled and health-augmenting bean. It can help battle cancer and fatigue, enhance mood and support brain function, promote healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels, protect brain, boost heart health, lower inflammation, help digestion, and has anti-bacterial properties [RRRR, R].

Whereas Tahl Gum is, essentially, just a fancy way of saying Acacia Gum. It’s a substance that has positive impact on digestive health, oral health, weight loss, wound healing, pain relief, support liver health, help fight diabetes, and lower cholesterol. And, yes, it’s an abundant source of dietary fiber as well [R, R, R, R, R, R].

In other words, it’s an absolute powerhouse of nutrients. Kind of like the Vanilla Dream option, only with the addition of Cacao. Moreover, there are no bad choices for additives.

There Is Beet Root Here For More BenefitsThe Live Conscious Protein Powder Cosmic Cacao goes with Hymalian Salt, Natural Flavor, Xanthan Gum, Organic Beet Root, Organic Guar Gum, and Organic Stevia Leaf.

Of these, the only one we didn’t discuss yet is the Beet Root. Which, in a few words, is a root that can improve digestive health, help fight inflammation, and is very nutritious among other things.

Hence, it’s hardly an additive in the sense that it’s all about benefits and well-being.

So, as far as the ingredients and additives for the Cosmic Cacao version for the supplement of this review goes, I can’t fault it either. The choices are really solid.

As Far As Customer Reviews, Not Everyone Is Happy With The Taste

Many product pages these days contain a customer review section. While the idea of them is nice, they don’t often have the best customer interest in mind. Meaning, I don’t believe these accurately represent the way how people feel about any given product. Because the word of mouth is just known to be too much of a powerful tool when it comes to marketing.

Customer Reviews Are Just Not There YetAnd so, many manufacturers I believe do try and leverage that. For example, the customer review sections of supplements like Landish Marine Collagen (review) and NeoCell Collagen Beauty Builder (review) are way too unnaturally positive.

While that isn’t exactly the case with Live Conscious Protein Powders, we can’t derive any real conclusions about the success rate from there either. Because as of writing this review, they have only a total of 8 Live Conscious Protein Powder reviews.

Hence, there is no way around this (and we would be doing this anyway). Let’s look at all third-party sellers and retailers.

For the Vanilla Dream, in total, I managed to come across just 46 Live Conscious Protein Powder reviews. Of these, 5 were bad (2 one-star, 3 two-star) and 41 were positive (17 five-star, 15 four-star, 9 three-star). Hence, while it is certainly too early to tell, that’s so far a global success rate of 89.1%. Which is very decent.

For the Cosmic Cacao, in total, I found 22 Live Conscious Protein Powder reviews. Of them, 6 were bad (4 one-star, 2 two-star) and 16 were good (4 three-star, 4 four-star, 8 five-star). So, again, too early to tell. But if we had to, that’s 72.7% so far. Which is not entirely terrible but it definitely seems to be on the low side.

Live Conscious Protein Powder ReviewsWhich brings me to the why.

I mean, one thing that can be said, for sure, is that not everyone agrees with the taste. I mean, just about every negative piece of feedback is about that. But that’s a genuinely subjective thing. What is tasty for one person, isn’t tasty for the other. It’s something that happens even with foods like ice cream and wine.

Furthermore, this negative feedback is from Amazon. And let me just say that Amazon isn’t exactly known for storing supplements in their most optimal conditions. Which I imagine can also contribute to the bad taste if not more.

Other than that, yes, not that many reviews all in all. But should we have expected any otherwise?

No, both of these Live Conscious Protein products are brand new. Like really brand new. It’s not a surprise at all that there aren’t any real basis of customer reviews yet. I mean, it would be absolutely unnatural if there was.

Plus, the customer review base typically doesn’t build that fast either. I’ve reviewed supplements where they acquire less than a 100 reviews per year on average. Sure, that’s not the case for every supplement. My point is we might be waiting for a while for a good customer base to assess success rates properly.

It Isn’t The Cheapest Thing Ever But It’s A Very Reasonable One

I’m pretty sure I did not see a single comment complaining about the price for the supplements of this review yet. But is that an objectively true statement? Meaning, is it actually that Live Conscious Protein Powder is a reasonably priced one for the value?

So, both the Vanilla Dream and the Cosmic Cacao cost the same. The price is typically $36.99. But we can get it for as low as $30.99. That’s $1.55 per serving. Or, to make it more comparable with what the other brands have to offer, that’s $1.03 for every 10 grams of Plant-based Protein.

This Product Is A Very Reasonable DealSo, how does that compare?

Compare it to something like the Orgain Organic Protein Powder. It costs typically $35.76 per container, and it offers 20 servings of 21 grams of protein. Hence, to do the math, that’s 85.1 cents for every 10 grams of Plant-Based Protein. In other words, that’s some 17% cheaper than the Live Conscious Protein Powder.

But that difference in price is not worth it given the quality difference. Meaning, yes, Orgain is also USDA Organic and Vegan. But Orgain doesn’t do third-party testing. Furthermore, I like the beneficial contents way better in Live Conscious. Moreover, Orgain does have some added additives that I’m not fond of.

Hence, for me, although Orgain is cheaper, I would go with the Protein Powder of Live Conscious, for sure.

Now, compare it also to something like the Garden of Life Organic Plant Protein. It’s something that costs $22.39 for a container of 10 servings each of which is 15 grams of Plant-Based Protein. Namely, that’s $1.49 for every 10 grams of Plant-based Protein.

Now, in terms of quality (apart from Garden of Life being Nestle), it’s very similar to Live Conscious. Now, yes, Garden of Life also brings digestive enzymes and some Probiotics to the table. But personally, I would still prefer the Live Conscious. I mean, I like its contents better, never mind it not being about digestive enzymes or Probiotics. Plus, the price difference.

I Believe This Protein Powder Has More Than Plenty To Offer

There is plenty of everything when it comes to Plant Protein out there. They come in all kinds of compositions (sometimes even really confusing ones or ones hard to follow along) with the goal of providing Vegan-type Protein. The choice is abundant.

This Protein Powders Are Supplements Absolutely BuyableBut I think the Live Conscious Protein Powder does stand out a bit when compared to the rest.

Yes, it doesn’t have an amazing track record of customer reviews yet. And, yes, it isn’t the utmost cheapest Plant-Based Protein supplement on the market.

However, I think it’s worth every penny of it. It embraces a really awesome combination of beneficial ingredients; it’s not just Pea Protein. It also uses, basically, just beneficial additives, too. Furthermore, as far as quality, it’s the upper-echelon through third-party testing and USDA Organic certification.

Moreover, the only bad reviews it, essentially, ever gets are those people not liking the taste. But even then, they have the courtesy of the 365-day money-back guarantee.

Hence, (out of avoid it, consider it, shortlist it, buy it) I believe that both the Live Conscious Protein Powder Vanilla Dream and the Cosmic Cacao option are buyable. They’re very, very good, and very, very hard to fault. They’re something that I would love to try myself as well.

  1. I’m curious how you could write an in-depth review of a product you haven’t tasted yet? I appreciate all of the information you gave since I’m trying to find a healthy, plant-based protein powder but I’m so shocked by the fact that you haven’t tried the product you gave an in-depth review of. Why is that?

    • Hey, Donna!

Yeah, I feel you. I totally get where you’re coming from. And I appreciate you for bringing this up. So, do hear me out. <3

If writing an in-depth review would rely on the condition that I have properly tried the product myself, it would mean that on a good year I probably wouldn't be able to do more than about 20 reviews. That's a year. I mean, the math works out like this.

I get a new product. I should really give it a go for a month or two while not changing anything else in my routine. Otherwise, I would risk not knowing which of the supplements was responsible for a gain or a side effect, or whatever else. Meaning, say, it's 4 weeks of a product (just the taste is not enough and that aspect is highly subjective anyway, namely, one person likes it, another doesn't), then a review; I wouldn't be able to get more than 15 reviews across a year. 20 is like the absolute ceiling of that.

So, with this website, I take a kind of a different type of approach. I mean, those feel reviews (if I can call them that way), we can find all over the internet. So, the way I see it, there's no point in me replicating that. Plus, I do a separate section where I basically summarize all of those feel reviews if you do not want to spend your time researching them.

So, what I'm trying to do with my reviews is to try to give a more scientific look at what the supplement is, what ingredients it contains, how it compares with others, etc.

That being said, on occasion, I will share my own subjective experiences with any given product but it's not the typical case.

I hope that makes sense, Donna. At least a little bit. :)

      Cheers,
      Matiss

  2. I have absolutely no experience with plant-based protein powder, or protein powder in general. This was very thorough an informative intro for me! I am not surprised about the taste – pure cocoa can be a bit bitter. And if this supplement is sugar free, that sounds about typical for some people to complain about the taste. I am curious, would this supplement be suitable for someone interested in a keto or carnivore diet?

    • Hey, Dbrae!

I’m thrilled to hear that this proved to be a great intro.
Yeah, I think it’s absolutely compatible with a keto-type of living.

I’m not so sure about the carnivore diet, though. As far as I know, it shouldn’t qualify for that because this is plant-based protein. The carnivore diet is more all about animal-based ones.

  3. I am not a Vegan but anything that provides a healthier option gets the thumbs up from me. I have never heard of this before but would be quite happy to try it. my only concern would be the taste. Is the taste similar to cows milk? I also think this would be good if you were lactose intolerant. very informative with a depth of information few others provide.

    Thanks

    • Hey, Steve!

I love that! I guess you could say that about me, too.
About the taste, I’m not really sure. I haven’t tried it yet myself.

And absolutely. Yeah, it’s a great option for both vegans and Dairy-Free.

  4. I wouldn’t write this product off based on taste alone. There are ways to counter that, like mixing with a portion of appropriate food. The benefits you point out, like muscle support, strikes a chord with me. I’m lean, and I’ve been thinking of bulking up a bit, and all my research points to an increase in protein intake. Thanks for this review. I will make a point of checking the product out further.

    • Hey, Steve!

Yeah, indeed, the taste isn’t everything. It’s definitely more about what it contains and how helpful can the things it has prove to be as opposed to how it tastes.
And even if the taste isn’t ideal, for sure, there are healthy ways to counter that.

      Cheers,

  5. Vegetal proteins have no advantage over milk ones. I wouldn’t buy any unless I was vegan. Whey isolate is incommensurably better.

Personally, I’ve no idea. I’ll have to look into that.
