23 Best Multivitamins For Men 2022 (& 13 Bull*hit Ones)

Buyer’s Guide  |  Best Multivitamins  |  Bull*hit Multivitamins  |  Vegetarian  |  Vegan  |

This list of the best multivitamins for men 2022 is to straighten out and put the existing situation right. Namely, this situation of misrepresentation, ignorance, even genuine deception.

23 Best Multivitamins For Men 2022I mean, I’m fully aware to some this may sound a bit over the top. However, have you ever spent a ridiculous amount of time and still not been able to find a half-decent supplement?

The truth is that it’s a task that’s pretty hard these days to manage. Sure, the sheer amount of multivitamins on the market is definitely a contributing factor. However, the biggest problem with this is that bestseller lists and I believe even many multivitamin best-of lists are extremely inaccurate with their recommendations.

To illustrate what I mean, throughout this article we’ll discuss not only all that is relevant to the best of supplements that are packed with all necessary nutrients (including ones for vegans and vegetarians), but also you will learn all about the recommended and best-sold supplements that shouldn’t be considered as such (or bought as much as they are). And I’ll explain exactly why in each particular case.

Over the course of research for this article, I went over every single multivitamin I could possibly find online. Hence, I’m hugely confident that this will not only be very insightful but also a huge time-saver overall despite the article itself being a rather long one. Furthermore, this article will equip you with the knowledge necessary to assess them yourself.

The 6 Aspects That Are Paramount When It Comes To Multivitamins

Aspect No. 1 | We Use The Conventional Approach For Nutrient Amounts In This List

there-are-at-least-two-options-in-how-to-go-about-your-daily-multivitamin

The first incredibly important aspect of any multivitamin is how much nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial substances) it actually provides.

And speaking of this, there there are at least two different approaches you can take. The first one of these can be referred to as the conventional approach and the second one as the unconventional one (for a lack of a better word).

The unconventional approach focuses on what is regarded as the best practices when it comes to vitamin and mineral amounts. And it is a little untraditional, not everyone will agree with it.

Whereas the conventional one is all about making sure that you get all those nutrients in amounts that are no less than or reasonably above 100% of the Daily Value (where it is appropriate).

So, of the two, this article is specifically designed around multivitamins for men that meet the 100% Daily Value criterion (conventional approach). That said, if by any chance you’re interested in learning about supplements for men that are based on the best practices for nutrient amounts, be sure to visit this article.

Aspect No. 2 | The Nutrient Forms Must Be Of Superior Breed (Very Bioavailable)

Have you ever put some real good attention on a supplement label and wondered what it all means?

Specifically, have you ever contemplated what do all those fancy compound names that are listed after any respective vitamin or mineral mean (like in the picture below)?

There Are Many Different Nutrient Forms Out There – Some Beneficial, Some Not So Much

This is because of these compound names, known as nutrient forms, matter. There are all kinds of them out there. But the biggest difference between each and every single one of them is when it comes to bioavailability.

Bioavailability is just a fancy way of referring to how much of an actual vitamin or mineral you’re body is able to absorb and thus, benefit from.

For example, 100 mg of Magnesium Oxide and 100 mg of Magnesium Malate. Both of these will be labeled as 100 mg of Magnesium. However, given the absorbability of each, you’ll barely get any benefit out of that Magnesium Oxide. Whereas Magnesium Malate will actually be incredibly beneficial [RRRR].

My point is that not all nutrient forms are created equal. Many will be much better than others. And truth told, they definitely are one of the most important aspects of any nutritional supplement, especially multivitamin ones [R, R].

So, naturally, for this list, we will be seeking out and preferring supplements that employ the best and most beneficial nutrient forms available.

Aspect No. 3 | Additives Are Always Great But They Have To Be In These Multivitamins

This is an aspect I don’t see enough reviews putting attention on. The aspect of additives. An aspect that many have various misconceptions about.

High-Fructose Corn Syrup In Candies Is A Very Common Occurrence

First, there’s a group of people that deem them unimportant. But this is just being negligent of their impact (or anything’s impact for that matter) that gets consumed and how that affects you.

A great example of this is the High-Fructose Corn Syrup, which is one of the most devastating substances you see added to so many foods (and supplements as well).

A substance that brings devastating consequences, like obesity, heart disease, coronary artery disease, liver damage, diabetes, cancer, stupidity, and many more [RRRRR, R, RRRRRRR].

And so second, there’s that group of people that slides into thinking that every additive is a bad one. Yet without them the making of supplements a lot of times wouldn’t be possible.

Furthermore, there are also a great number of additives that are actually harmless instead of just deemed so by authorities (like that example of High-Fructose Corn Syrup).

So, when speaking of the best multivitamins for men in 2022, our focus will be on those that provide the most harmless of additives (and even beneficial ones) wherever and whenever that’s possible.

Aspect No. 4 | Quality And Manufacturing Practices Matter More Than Many Realize

Quality and manufacturing practices are the main reason why you shouldn’t ever buy a random multivitamin supplement you find on a shelf somewhere (or any supplement for that matter). It doesn’t matter that it looks good, is promising, and has awesome claims.

the-manufacturing-practices-are-extremely-important-when-assessing-any-supplementThat said, this is also one of the hardest aspects to assess right of the bat. And that’s mainly because these you don’t get labeled on supplements, you have to be aware of the background of a company.

And this is also why you don’t see people taking this into consideration when posting their reviews. It takes a considerable amount of research.

Yet again, I assure you, this can change absolutely everything.

The nutrient amounts can be great, nutrients forms – superb, additives – harmless, yet if the manufacturing practices will be miserable the supplement will be so two.

Thus, for the list, we will only focus on supplements that are great in this aspect but no less than decent.

Aspect No. 5 | Added Benefits Of Other Additions Will Be On Our Minds But Not Too Much

The Right Kind Of Additional Beneficial Substances Can Have Profound Extra Benefits On Your HealthThis probably is the least important aspect of all of the established ones for finding the best multivitamins for men. But it is still something that’s worth considering and that must be taken into account when shopping for a supplement.

It’s not rare that various additional beneficial substances are added to supplements to make them more diverse, great, beneficial and magnify their positive impact on your health.

The thing about these is that there’s literally an infinite amount of herbs, roots, fruits, etc that could be added for bringing that improvement about.

So, we are definitely not looking for some very specific ones but rather we’ll evaluate them as they come.

Still, the primary thing always to consider first is that of nutrient forms and amounts. Only then you should look at additional beneficial substances as an adjunct to that.

Aspect No. 6 | The Price Must Be To The Very Least Reasonable Compared To The Value

How much would you say is too much for a supplement? $20, $30 or $50, or even maybe a $100?

I think it’s hard to disagree that it should highly depend on the value that a supplement is providing. Then, would you agree that a supplement that costs $35 for a month’s supply should not be considered too expensive if it provides INCREDIBLE value?

the-price-must-be-reasonable-and-acceptable-for-the-value-it-providesI think that’s fair.

That said, there is this huge misconception that it’s fine to spend $20-$50 on a single meal at McDonald’s, a night out on drinks or a movie, yet it’s not okay (deemed crazy) to spend $35 a month on a supplement.

I’m not saying that any of those is a necessarily bad thing. All I’m saying is that a proper supplement is something that will benefit your health way more than any of those other things.

And that is especially the case if you yourself are aware that you don’t exactly have the luxury to live a truly healthy life, like doing sports every day, sleeping 8-9 hours, or eating only home-cooked meals.

Even with none of that, even if it’s only a multivitamin – that is still an incremental step towards your better health. That at the end of the day, can change everything.

19 Best Multivitamins For Men 2022 – Breaking Them Down One By One

No. 1 | Dr. Mercola Whole-Food Multivitamin Plus Vital Minerals – 5-IN-1 Type Of Multi

I’m very confident that the Dr. Mercola Whole-Food Multivitamin Plus Vital Minerals is the best conventional multivitamin currently on the market. And it’s likely to stay that way for a while. It just builds on a really great foundation (great %DV, nutrient forms, and additives), and there are just too many great aspects about it. Furthermore, any drawbacks are easily fixable.

Dr. Mercola Whole Food Multivitamin Plus Vital MineralsSo, just to list a few, here are the three most prevalent positives.

There is not a single nutrient that is present in a low-quality form. That’s something very rare. Second, it offers sufficient amounts of Magnesium genuinely eliminating any need for a separate supplement for that mineral. Third, it adds the whole food element to the supplement along with a bunch of other beneficial substances.

In terms of the drawbacks, I kind of see two-and-a-half.

First, there’s this notion that it doesn’t add preformed vitamin A. Which is a crucially important thing. Because unlike what most people are led to believe, Beta-Carotene is not a sufficient alternative. That half is about having sufficient Calcium amount. Whereas that last one is the price.

But if we really think about it, only the last one is a real drawback. Because vitamin A we can easily add with a separate vitamin A supplement. And when it comes to Calcium, it’s the same thing; we can easily add it with a separate supplement. But when it comes to the price, here’s a thing we should all understand about the Dr. Mercola multi. It’s not just a multivitamin.

The truth is it combines within itself at least five different supplements. Hence, at its core, it’s effectively a fusion of a Multivitamin, Magnesium, Vitamin C, Carotenoid, and Vitamin D supplement.

It Adds The Natural Vitamin C Forms

This is because not only it takes care of everything a typical high-quality multivitamin would. It adds enough Magnesium which almost no other multivitamin ever does.

Also, it adds great amounts of superior form vitamin C along with Bioflavonoids which is the ideal combination for immune health (especially in these Covid-19 times). Then, vitamin D only further adds to that notion.

In fact, when typically it’s recommended to have the multivitamin and add 2000 IU through a separate vitamin D supplement, this one eliminates that need.

And then, we also get an abundant amount of Carotenoids which are amazing antioxidants, work well with the preformed vitamin A, and can even improve our visual processing speed. And then, of course, we got all those other beneficial substances to further add to all the potential gains.

So, realistically, I think the Dr. Mercola Whole-Food Multivitamin Plus Vital Minerals is really great value. Because, again, we’re essentially getting five high-quality supplements for a price of one. Now, yes, it’s a bit more expensive than an average high-quality conventional multivitamin.

However, purchasing all five of such supplements separately would likely mean spending at least 40% more money. And that’s always worth by my books. Is it by yours?

No. 2 | Vitamin IQ Whole Food Multivitamin For Men – Adhering To %DV Religiously

If we’re after a conventional multivitamin supplement that is about adhering to the percentage Daily Values religiously, then the Vitamin IQ Whole Food Multivitamin For Men is arguably the best choice. It’s very dedicated that way. And while that could be considered its biggest strength, it also brings the whole food element to the table along with a few other beneficial substances.

Vitamin IQ Whole Food Multivitamin For MenOn that note, here are the three most prevalent positives for it.

First, similarly as the Dr. Mercola Multvitamin, this one also takes advantage of just the most beneficial nutrient forms. Second, it adds blends to the table that are all about improving prostate, brain, digestive health, and more. Third, it has a built-in Carotenoid aspect of the supplement providing plenty of antioxidant and anti-cancer power.

Now, this brings me to a few potential drawbacks.

First, like most other multivitamins, it doesn’t add enough Magnesium and Calcium. Hence, those will have to be added through a standalone additional supplement. Second, it doesn’t add any Vanadium (not that big a deal) or vitamin K1 (pretty big deal). Which is certainly not the end of the world.

One of the really great things about it is that it’s vegan. Furthermore, just like the Dr. Mercola Multivitamin, this one is also GMO-Free. Moreover, it’s also Soy-Free, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Coloring and Flavoring-Free, Yeast-Free, Gelatin-Free, and Sugar-Free. Hence, by all accounts, a very viable and great choice.

This is the exact one I would go for if conventional was my approach and the No. 1 of this best-for-men list wouldn’t exist.

No. 3 | Performance Lab NutriGenesis Multi For Men – Taking The Real Exciting Approach

The Performance Lab NutriGenesis Multi For Men takes a slightly different approach to nutrients than the previous two supplements on this list do. Granted, it doesn’t add any blends or additional beneficial substances to the table. However, they take special care of the vitamins and minerals they offer.

Performance Lab NutriGenesis For MenTo that end, here are the two most prevalent positives of this one.

First, they use their own unique technology to bioengineer the nutrients together with their natural cofactors with the idea to improve absorption and boost gains. Second, it adds every single vitamin and mineral that we need in terms of basic nutrition, and it does so typically with sufficient amounts. Plus, there’s also the brain-boosting substance Inositol.

But there are things I don’t exactly like about it.

First, it adds just ridiculously low amounts of Magnesium and Calcium. I mean, they’re so low that they might as well not be there. Second, it adds Iron but men typically don’t need this mineral with their supplements. That’s, of course, unless they’re vegan or vegetarian. Third, yes, there are no blends with this. But the vitamin and mineral aspect it does superbly.

I also like the additives they opt for. And I love the fact that this is also Non-GMO, and then it’s a supplement that has been researched as far as enhancing nutrient absorption. Which is really cool.

Hence, this is the one I would go for if none of the previous two existed and conventional was my approach.

No. 4 | Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin for Men – Great Nutrients & Blends

While the Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin For Men embodies many of the characteristics of the supplements that came before it on this list, it feels to me like the considerably much more expensive version. Because it doesn’t quite effectively eliminate the need for other additional supplements like the Dr. Mercola Whole-Food Multivitamin Plus Vital Minerals [R].

Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin For MenBut it’s definitely a great supplement no doubt. Here’s its three most prevalent characteristics.

First, I feel I have to start with my favorite one. This Naturelo for Men is third-party tested for purity, potency, and safety. Second, almost all of the nutrient forms are really great for absorption and thus, gains. Third, it adds the whole food aspect of things with a bunch of other helpful blends.

Now, that brings me to the stuff that could be considered as drawbacks.

The first and obvious one is that it doesn’t bring enough Magnesium and Calcium to avoid the need for a separate supplement providing those. Second, it doesn’t add any of the preformed vitamin A. And just to repeat, no amount of Beta Carotene can replace that. In fact, even when our bodies are capable of the conversion, it’s pretty miserable.

That said, both are easily fixable aspects (for Magnesium & Calcium, for vitamin A). I also like the fact that this one is Non-GMO, as well as Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Soy-Free. So, if you feel you can afford (it’s not that expensive actually, it’s just the relatively more expensive than the other options), definitely consider it.

Personally, this is the exact supplement I would buy if conventional was my approach and none of the previous supplements would exist.

No. 5 | Natural Factors Whole Earth & Sea Men’s 50 Plus – Third-Party Tested Wonder

While the Natural Factors Whole Earth & Sea Men’s 50 Plus might be labeled as a multivitamin for men over 50, I believe it’s just the best supplement of their men’s lineup. Hence, it’s something I would recommend anyone looking into regardless of whether or not we fall into that age group.

Natural Factors Whole Earth & Sea Mens 50 PlusTo that end, here are what I believe are its three greatest aspects.

First, it goes beyond just great nutrient forms. For example, it uses the most helpful vitamin B1 from Benfotiamine; it draws its vitamin C from arguably the best natural source for that vitamin (Organic Amla); it uses a patented form of vitamin B9 (Quatrefolic), etc.

Second, it adds the whole food aspect of things through their own unique Farm Fresh Factors technology. Third, they have their end-products tested by third-party labs to ensure purity, potency, and safety.

But there definitely are a few not-so-great aspects that could be referred to as drawbacks, too.

One such aspect is the lack of preformed vitamin A. Which is, however, an easily fixable thing. The second is certainly the lack of any meaningful amounts of Magnesium and Calcium. To that end, while we could theoretically forgo a separate supplement of that sort with something like the Naturelo option, I feel it isn’t quite possible with this one.

Other than that, it’s also tested for Non-GMO, and it’s free of Gluten and Corn along with a bunch of other allergens. Still, personally, that third-party testing is what I most appreciate about it. It certainly is a great buy.

With that in mind, this is the exact supplement I would buy if conventional was my approach and none of the previous supplements would exist.

No. 6 | Now Foods Daily Vits Veg Capsules – Beyond Busted Value For The Price

Now Foods is a really great brand I’ve been a huge fan of for quite some time now. And they’ve also got something to offer when it comes to the conventional approach of the best multivitamins for men 2022. In fact, there is one aspect in terms of which it is the best thing on this list.

Now Foods Daily Vits Veg CapsulesSo, what is this Now Foods Daily Vits Veg Capsules the best at?

It’s the most affordable option. It offers just immense value for the price. I mean, we can as much as skip or fast a meal and behold. A multivitamin for a month. That’s just busted, the way I see it. I mean, we don’t really have the luxury anymore of not taking care of those nutritional gaps just because we’re on a very tight budget.

Plus, most of the nutrient forms are really great. But there are some drawbacks.

This supplement doesn’t use a viable vitamin D form. Hence, we won’t really be able to do without a separate standalone one. Second, preferably, we’ll also need a separate one for Magnesium and Calcium since the amounts present are absolutely negligible. Third, the additional substances it adds are scarce.

I mean, not that we should be expecting more given its only one capsule a day but still. And it uses Non-GMO Soy. It’s Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, Keto, Halal, Kosher, Gluten-Free, as well as it’s vegan and vegetarian friendly. Overall, definitely a great buy.

Hence, this is the exact supplement I would buy if conventional was my approach and I was really tight on a budget or none of the previous supplements would exist.

No. 7 | Innate Response Formulas One Daily Cap – Great Basic Nutrition With A Price Tag

Innate Response Formulas One Daily Cap is yet another high-quality multivitamin supplement that is primarily and solely focused on providing the necessary vitamins and minerals without giving too much thought about any additional beneficial substances. Which is not to say that it doesn’t add any. Still, it’s more focused and geared towards providing crucial basic nutrition.

Innate Response Formulas One Daily CapHere are a few things I like most about it.

First, there are almost no nutrients that drop below the 100% Daily Values. And even when they do, they are in highly absorbable and beneficial forms. Second, it offers Tocopherols and Tocotrienols. These are the incredibly beneficial forms of vitamin E that almost no other multivitamin ever offers.

Another huge positive, in my opinion, is the abundance of B12 in this. I mean, some may see as having 500 mcg of vitamin B12 or 8333% of the Daily Value as a bad thing. Because they wrongly believe we overdose on it that way. However, the truth is that we can’t. Which is even true if we were to take this supplement daily for the rest of our life [RRRRR].

For drawbacks, I guess three are obvious.

First, it doesn’t add any preformed vitamin A. Which is a problem because no amounts of Beta-Carotene can really ever replace that. It is, however, something easily fixable. Second, it’s that same thing with need for more Magnesium and Calcium. Third, it doesn’t do any beneficial substances apart from the quite decent amounts of CoEnzyme Q10.

It’s great in terms of additives. And it’s said to be Gluten-Free. And while it may feel expensive, do recall that it comes in containers worth for two months.

This is the exact supplement I would buy if conventional was my approach and none of the previous supplements would exist.

No. 8 – No. 15 | The Rest Of Awesome Multivitamins

Given that people usually are not that interested in the bottom end of a best-of list, for the time being, I have not added the descriptions for the remainder of the list. So, here’s just the rundown of the rest of the list.

13 Bull*hit Multivitamins For Men 2022 – What Not To Get

I feel there’s a lot of misinformation out there about supplements in general. And this is also the case when talking about the best multivitamins for men. Thus, I feel it’s incredibly important to discuss some of those misrepresented supplements and explain exactly why they are not on the list you see above. But most importantly, also why they shouldn’t be on any of these respective lists.A Lot Of Thought Has Gone Into Making Sure This List For The Best Multivitamins For Men Is As Accurate As Possible

This is not to say that I know everything. I don’t.

However, a lot of thought has gone into the list you saw above (or below for vegetarians and vegans). So, much in fact, that  I can explain and give you ideas on exactly why I haven’t put them in the list here (supplements that other “best of” lists contain).

After that, it’s up to you to decide whether or not you agree with me or not.

Other than that, I will be adding a similar section to all of the future and past best lists that I will do for any type of supplements.

Ultimately my main goal with this article is to help you find the truly best multivitamins for your health and well-being. Of which an essential part is also understanding and becoming fully aware of why particular multivitamins won’t work.

That said, at any time you are welcome to leave comments suggesting other supplements for this section. All so that you’d have the full picture on why I felt any particular one didn’t fit the mold of the best ones.

*** | Rainbow Light Men’s One Multivitamin

The main reason of Rainbow Light Men’s One Multivitamin not being on this list is that it offers way too much B1, B2, and B6. Or 1667%, 1538%, and 1176% of Daily Value, respectively.

That is way too overboard for a conventional multivitamin (one that is based on equal to or reasonably above 100% Daily Values).

So, in truth, this Men’s One Multivitamin is something that should be evaluated according to the best practices. Meaning, it should be evaluated with supplements in its own “weight class” if that makes sense.

But among the best unconventional multivitamins that are evaluated based on those best practices it earns no recognition.

Mainly because there are just too little of everything (like Carotenoids, preformed retinol, vitamin C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12, Choline, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Vanadium, Boron, Inositol).

Read the full review on Rainbow Light Men’s One Multivitamin.

*** | SmartyPants Men’s Complete (Formula)

SmartyPants Men’s Complete is a very poor choice of supplementation. Thus, I was surprised (and very disappointed) to see one of the most respectful websites listing it No. 2 on their “best of” list for men’s multivitamins.

It really doesn’t make any sense.

The main issue with this one is in its additives.

It’s absolutely leaking of sugar. Just insane amounts of sugar. Thus, it likely sells well because of this. But it’s also taking advantage of your health quite literally due to sugar making you stupid, diabetic, or just fat. Not sure, you really wanted that when you initially thought about adding a supplement to your daily regimen [R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Furthermore, it doesn’t really add any meaningful nutrient amounts either. 5% of vitamin B1, 15% of vitamin B2, 20% of vitamin B3, 11% of vitamin B5, 15% of vitamin B7. And that’s not all.

It offers only 3 of 11 crucial minerals. I mean, it’s a disgrace being called a supplement not to mention being listed No. 2 on the best-of list for multivitamin supplements for men.

*** | Nature’s Way Alive! Once Daily Men’s Ultra

The main reason for Nature’s Way Alive! Once Daily Men’s Ultra not being on the list is because it goes way too hard on B vitamins, Way beyond the focus on being equal to or reasonably above 100% Daily Values.

What I mean is that this supplement offers 1667% of vitamin B1, 1471% of vitamin B2, and 2000% of vitamin B6. That’s too much for a conventional multivitamin.

What it is not too much for is a supplement subscribing to the best practices aka being an unconventional multivitamin.

That said, it didn’t earn a spot among the very best of unconventional multivitamin supplements mainly due to the poor nutrient forms used in the supplement (like Pyridoxine HCl for B6, Folic Acid for B9, Cyanocobalamin for B12, Zinc Oxide for Zinc, Sodium Selenate for Selenium, Copper Sulfate for Copper, etc).

*** | GNC Mega Men

GNC Mega Men is yet another multivitamin supplement that is of the bread of unconventional vitamins. One that follows the best practices for nutrient amounts instead of those for 100% Daily Values (which this list is about).

To illustrate, this supplement contains 3333% of vitamin B1, 2941% of vitamin B2, and 2500% of vitamin B6.

That said, it hasn’t earned recognition among the best unconventional multivitamin supplements either. And there are a number of reasons for this.

First, in the GNC Mega Men, you will find a number of not that great of additives for your health, like Natural Vanilla Mint Flavor, Talc, and Caramel Color.

Second, a number of critical nutrients are present in average or poor forms. For example, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride for vitamin B6, Folic Acid for vitamin B9, Cyanocobalamin for vitamin B12, Copper Sulfate for Copper, Zinc Oxide for Zinc, Chromium Chloride for Chromium, etc.

Third, it’s said to contain soybeans, however, there’s no assertion of those soybeans being Non-GMO. Which is a problem if your health is valuable to you.

*** | NOW ADAM Men’s Multiple Vitamin

NOW ADAM Men’s Multiple Vitamin is yet another supplement which if was to be here, it wouldn’t be in it’s weight class.

The reason being is that it goes for 1667% of vitamin B1, 1471% of vitamin B2, and 1250% of vitamin B6.

Thus, it doesn’t really fit the 100% Daily Value mold.

Other than that, overall, I feel NOW ADAM Men’s Multiple Vitamin is a great supplement. But it still earns no recognition among the very best unconventional multivitamin supplements.

This is because it falls short in a number of nutrient amounts according to the best practices. For example, there’s too little of vitamin C, D3, E, vitamin B3, B5, B9, B12, Choline, Inositol, Copper, as well as zero Boron or Vanadium.

There are also a few weak nutrient forms present, like Choline Bitartrate for Choline, Calcium Pantothenate for vitamin B5, and Folic Acid for vitamin B9.

*** | Centrum Silver Men

You can’t not love how a number of websites list this as the “safest multivitamin for men” to go for. But they couldn’t be more wrong as there’s nothing safe about it.

The truth is that Centrum Silver Men contains a number of very harmful additives, thus, listing it as the safest multivitamin for men is way more than just obnoxious.

It makes you wonder if there has gone any thought into creating those lists.

To illustrate, Centrum Silver Men contains such harmful additives as artificial colors (Yellow 6 Lake, Red 40 Lake), Talc, Modified Corn Starch, Corn Starch, Titanium Dioxide, and Maltodextrin.

These can bring about digestive problems, sudden headache, bloating, difficulty breathing, itching, diarrhea, irritability, hyperactivity, rash, lung damage, liver damage, brain damage, weaken immune system, just cause inflammation in general, and among other potential side effects even quite literally give you cancer [for references see the full review]

Clearly, it shouldn’t be regarded as “the safest multivitamin for men”. It much rather fits the description of possibly being “the most harmful for men” or “the absolute worst multivitamin for men”.

On top of all that, it’s also mainly about very cheap and ineffective forms for your supplementation. For example, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Calcium Pantothenate, Copper Sulfate, Ferrous Fumarate, Folic Acid, Manganese Sulfate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride,  Sodium Molybdate,  Sodium Selenate, Zinc Oxide.

The added iron can also truly mess with your health. In that regard, men are recommended not to take vitamins that have Iron in them because we typically get enough of that stuff through our diet. And thus, supplementing can be detrimental (due to dangers of overdosing) [RRRRRRRRRR].

*** | Source Naturals Men’s Life Force

This is a supplement that does not fit the 100% Daily Values mold.

That said, according to the best practices it is without a doubt one of the best multivitamins out there.

It offers a bunch of different nutrients, as well as beneficial substances.

Consequently, given its might and glory, it’s listed on the list for the very best multivitamins as No. 15 (unconventional multivitamin supplements).

If you’re interested, you can visit that article by clicking here.

*** | Vitafusion Men’s Multivitamin

In its very essence, Vitafusion Men’s Multivitamin is a very similar one to the SmartyPants Men’s Complete.

It’s all about sugar, giving little to no regard to your actual health and well-being. Also, there’s a chance it contains High-Fructose Corn Syrup which is listed as Glucose Syrup, which is just an alternate name to hide the extremely detrimental substance [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

On top of that, it misses a whole bunch of vitamins completely, like vitamin B1, B2, B3, while offering others in amounts less than 100% Daily Values, like vitamin C, B9, B7.

Whereas when it comes to minerals, it offers you 4 out of 11 crucial ones. Furthermore, most of these 4 don’t exactly subscribe to 100% Daily Values either. Only 25% of Iodine, Zinc, and Molybdenum.

Is that really something that a proper multivitamin for men should look like? Not to mention one of the best ones out there?

To me, that does not make any sense at all.

Read the full review on Vitafusion Men’s Multivitamin.

*** | Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men

Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men does not exactly subscribe to the notion of 100% Daily Values. I mean, just take a look at some of its nutrient amounts – 6250% of vitamin B1, 5769% of vitamin B2, 2941% of vitamin B6.

However, it does subscribe to the nutrient amounts defined as the best practices. Even more than that.

It has been evaluated as the No. 14 best multivitamin on the list of the very best multivitamin supplements (unconventional approach).

That said, don’t be misguided by the “best of” lists that list this one as the absolute best multivitamin for men out there. It’s none of that.

In fact, there are 13 better multivitamins than this one.

*** | One A Day Men’s Health Formula

My main issue with One A Day Men’s Health Formula is that it uses a Copper form that in studies, has been proven to not be absorbable at all (Cupric Oxide) [RRR].

What I mean is that even though it lists on the label that you will get 2 mg of Copper, you’re actually getting none. And this is purely because of the unabsorbable form in which Copper is in aka Cupric Oxide.

By my books, such a supplement that uses a 100% ineffective form and in a sense purposefully deceives people about what they will get out of it, is not a supplement worth even considering among the very best ones.

Cause a great multivitamin would never do that. And you don’t see that among the high-quality ones.

On top of that, I’m also not a fan of the synthetic form of vitamin E (Dl-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate) and the fact that it forgets about 4 crucial minerals completely.

Also, the nutrient forms you’ll find in the One A Day Men’s Health are some of the worst (poor or average in terms of absorbability considering what you could get instead).

For example, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Chromium Chloride, Cyanocobalamin, Folic Acid, Manganese Sulfate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride,  Sodium Selenite, Zinc Oxide (for Calcium, Magnesium, Chromium, vitamin B12, vitamin B9, Manganese, vitamin B6, Selenium, Zinc, respectively).

*** | Universal Nutrition Animal Pak Training Supplement

Universal Nutrition Animal Pak Training Supplement is again a supplement that doesn’t subscribe to the notion of 100% Daily Values being enough.

It’s one that follows the best practices and thus, should be considered as an unconventional multivitamin.

In that, however, it does overdo it.

My point being, there’s way too much vitamin B6 there. Those 180 mg daily is a blazing fast way to overdose on vitamin B6.

Purely because this amount is way beyond that what is considered the upper tolerable intake level. Thus, making it unsafe for long-term consumption (a month only might be fine though) [RRRRR].

The same can also be said about the amounts of Calcium that it provides. 2000 mg of Calcium daily is outright dangerous and can lead to overdosing and causing pretty much irreversible damage to your health. Plus, the Potassium’s also too much [RRR].

At the same time, it underperforms when speaking of other nutrients. For example, it offers only 50 mcg of such important vitamin as B12 or 50 mcg for such an important mineral as Selenium. And there are other such examples ultimately making the supplement in its essence a very unbalanced one.

There’s also the aspect of it using poor or average vitamin forms, like Folic Acid for vitamin B9, Calcium Pantothenate for vitamin B5.

Whereas when it comes to minerals, every single mineral is present in a poor or average form, like Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Oxide, Sodium Selenite, Copper Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, or Chromium Chloride. On that note, other crucial minerals like Molybdenum, Vanadium, and Boron, “it forgets” to have completely.

Plus, I wouldn’t say it’s all perfect when it comes to additives either.

Hence, it’s unworthy of a place among the very best multivitamin supplements for men based on the best practices for nutrient amounts (unconventional approach).

*** | Controlled Labs Orange Triad

Controlled Labs Orange Triad can’t really be compared with the supplements in the list for the best multivitamins for men I gave above.

This is because it’s a supplement in a different “weight class” so to say. It doesn’t care for 100% Daily Values. It cares for the best practices for nutrient amounts.

And in that regard, it does deliver.

In fact, it’s the No. 21 on the list of the very best multivitamins out there (the unconventional approach for multivitamin supplements).

*** | Muscletech Essential Series Platinum Multivitamin

The biggest issue with this supplement, something that is also the reason why you should never use it, is additives.

One of the additives it uses is Polysorbate 80. It’s essentially a poison. There’s no better way to describe it [RRRRRRRRRRR].

Plus, there’s also Talc present, which is known to probably be a cause of a wide range of various cancers. Thus, also something to avoid [RRRRRRRRRRRRR].

Other than that, the supplement doesn’t really subscribe to that standard of being no less than or reasonably above 100% Daily Values.

To illustrate, it offers 1333% of vitamin B1, 794% of vitamin B2, and 800% of vitamin B5.

But for a proper unconventional multivitamin that is based on the best practices for nutrient amounts, it falls short.

Meaning, there’s too little of vitamin C, D, E, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, B12, Zinc, Molybdenum, while also having zero vitamin K, Iodine, Selenium, Chromium, Boron, and Vanadium.

5 Best Vegetarian Multivitamins For Men 2022 – Some Awesome Options

5 Best Vegetarian Multivitamins For MenHas anyone ever told you that you will have to compromise on supplements if you’re a vegetarian?

I mean, in a sense that you won’t be able to get them as beneficial and capable as you otherwise would?

Well, that’s not true at all.

I mean, in some cases that can be true. However, when considering conventional multivitamins that are based on 100% Daily Values, that is not the case at all.

In fact, all 5 multivitamins starting with the No. 2 on the list of the best multivitamins for men 2022 I gave you earlier (see above) – all are vegetarian compatible.

How do you like that? Did you see that one coming?

3 Best Vegan Multivitamins For Men 2022 – Still Really Solid Options

3 Best Vegan Multivitamins For MenTypically it’s pretty hard to find relevant vegan supplements. And an excruciatingly more challenging task is that of finding relevant multivitamin supplements.

This is not because they make poorly formulated supplements when it comes to vitamins and minerals.

No, this is because many of them contain potentially very harmful additives. Additives that for your best health and well-being should be avoided.

That said, creating the list for the best multivitamins for men lead me to find quite a number of highly beneficial conventional multivitamin supplements.

These will not only be incredibly beneficial but also they are free of hazardous additives.

In fact, a number of those made it to the very list outlined above.

So, here’s the top 3.

No. 2 | Performance Lab NutriGenesis Multi For Men
No. 3 | Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin for Men

  1. Regarding your #1 choice for men, Vitamin Code, you said “it’s a whole food supplement that is created using the RAW Food-Created Nutrients technology. This means that all of the vitamins and all of the minerals have been directly derived from whole foods together with their natural co-factors…(and) 560 mg is organic”

However another site stated “The Vitamin Code nutrients are not extracted from real food. The manufacturer simply converts conventional vitamins into a more “natural” form through a culturing process involving yeast.
95% of the ingredients are not organic.”

Are there any reviewed product that are actually extracted from real food and not cultured through yeast? How much of a difference do you think it makes?

    Reply
    • Hey, Kimothy!

I’m sorry, Vitamin Code hasn’t been the #1 choice for a while now. I just haven’t gotten the chance to properly edit the article.

I completely agree with that citation (which I’ll have to paraphrase for SEO purposes). To that end, I feel more “natural” is an understatement. And there is more, why it’s a terrible supplement these days.

As far as I know, there isn’t one that’s 100% because it would either be unreasonably expensive or even just impossible to do. Generally speaking, I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s more about getting the right forms, the natural, immediately-usable-for-our-bodies type forms of those nutrients. That’s what counts. The closest thing to that in a container/capsule/tablet is the #4 (Natural Factors) and #5 (Naturelo) of the current list.

But if it really has to be all from food, there are companies out there that do that. Meaning, for 400-600 bucks or something a month one can get all the nutrition needed through food (mostly bars) specifically designed to provide all the necessary vitamins & minerals.

      I hope that answers it,
      Cheers,
      Matiss

      • Thanks Matiss, you’re recommending Naturelo over Vitamin Code, but before you said the opposite: “I would take the Garden of Life’s Vitamin Code Men over any of the offered respective whole-food versions any time of the day (Vitamin Codes are about 33% cheaper).”

Also when are you going to update the Men’s list?

        Reply
        • Hey, Kimothy!

Yeah, I’m sorry about that. But things (and recommendations) change. I’ve learned a lot of new about whole-food supplements since last year. Plus, pretty sure they weren’t before but Naturelo is also now third-party tested. Whereas Vitamin Codes are what one can refer to as fake whole-foods.

However, I think the problem with Vitamin Codes is best described by their manufacturer. I have managed to get to the Women’s Vitamin Code. You can read the full review here. It’s basically the same thing why I do think the men’s version is not worthy anymore.

All that said, generally speaking, I do believe that Vitamin Codes are still quite good supplements. But I won’t recommend them. See that women’s supplement review for more.

As for the update, I have a few interesting entries. It’s just a problem of keeping up with my other commitments (including, publishing new articles) and managing my time well enough to do it. Plus, there’s quite a lot of new I want to implement when it comes to the visuals for the best-of lists. Either way, I hope to get to it by the end of January but no promises.

Cheers, Kimothy! Have a Great One!

  2. From one researcher to another, great research! Assuming what you’re comparing is the serving size information, I think it could be really helpful if you could reply here, and add a note in your summary, of what the results would like if you compare one single capsule from each bottle. This would be helpful not only for those who just want one capsule for their multi, but make it easier to compare based on price per capsule.

So you’d take your #1, divide the ingredients by four (because it’s four capsules per serving), and then quickly compare that single capsule, to the other brand’s single capsules. I’m especially curious because you stated “25% of the best-absorbed form out there is likely to be way more beneficial to you than a 100% Daily Value of a poor form”.

  3. Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men vs Douglas Laboratories Ultra Preventive X … which one is the real No. 1 multi-vitamin?

    Reply
    • Hey, John!

Both are. In a way. It all depends on kind of which lense do you look through. Both lists use different nutrient amount standards. But if we want the truly best of the best, then it’s like comparing MMA Heavyweight (the 43 very best) with Flyweight or Bantamweight (the 31 best for men). It’s not even close.

To explain, this list is built on the idea of every nutrient (where appropriate) being at 100% Daily Values or reasonably above that. Whereas that other one (the very best of the best list) is built on what I believe are the best practices for nutrient amounts as far as basic supplementation. Hence, two completely different supplement lists.

If you ask me, which is better? I believe it’s the 43 very best of list by and far. But still, many people are not comfortable with other standards or have bought into the lie that 100% Daily Values are what you need. It’s why this article exists.

But what’s genuinely the best? That Douglas Laboratories option, for sure. And it’s not even close when comparing these specific two. Again, it’s like comparing an MMA Heavyweight (over 225 to 265 lbs) with Flyweight (115 to 125 lbs).

      I hope that helps. :)

  4. Hi Matiss,
I’ve been taking Now Foods Daily Vits Veg Capsules in a regularly basis but right now it is out of stock everywhere (or at least in all websites that deliver to Brazil).
I’m trying to find another budget multivitamin that is as good as that. One option that I have as a candidate for the budget position is Natural Factors Men’s MultiStart, Vitamin A Day for Men. Have you ever reviewed that one? If you could share your opinion about that multi I would appreciate that.

I’m truly sorry for not managing to get back to you sooner. I hope you’re doing really great.

The Natural Factors Men’s MultiStart is pretty awesome. I mean, yes, everything isn’t ideal about it, like the Magnesium and Calcium main forms it uses (they are hard to absorb for our bodies), and there are a few other things not optimal. But it’s Non-GMO and third-party tested. Overall, definitely a decent, decent supplement.

By all means, go for it, my friend. :)

        • Hey, Don!

I took a look at it for you.

There’s definitely nothing majorly wrong with it. There are no bad additives, the vitamins and minerals are very decent most of the time. The added extra ingredients of AstaReal, L. rhamnosus probiotic strain, and the blends, especially that Minerals complex, look really, really nice as well. And for the price, I think it’s a great value. Hence, the way I see it, it’s nothing less than to the very least a decent multivitamin.

That being said, I’m not really that sure about the Hair-Skin-&-Nails-side of things. Yes, there are those 5000 micrograms of Biotin. But I just wouldn’t expect much from that Hair, Skin, Nails blend. Yes, it can be of help. But nothing major, the way I see it. And hence, to that extent, I believe it’s always better to just roll with a solid, high-quality Collagen one (full review on what I believe is the best one).

Cheers, and have a Great One, Don!

As for that question, yes, I’d say that’s definitely a good option and should work well regardless of whether you’re above 50 or late 30s, or even early 20s. The way I see it, the idea of one supplement being better for one adult age group over another is something extremely volatile and fleeting (the only exception would be women in reproductive years versus post that).

  6. Hi Matiss!!!

I tried to purchase the Ultra Preventive X multivitamin but in Europe they have a different poor formulation (they dont even include vit. K2). Therefore I decided to go with the below supplements for long-term use:

    – Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men (4 caps per day)
    – Solgar Cod Liver Oil (Vitamins A & D) (1 cap per day)
    – Jarrow Formulas CarotenALL (1 cap per day)
    – Wiley’s Finest Peak Omega-3 Liquid (1 teaspoon per day)

Do you think its ok regarding the PDV of vit. A and Carotenoids ?

    Thanks.

    • Hey, George!

Awesome to hear you’ve narrowed it down for yourself. :)

Yes, I believe it should be more than okay. That would be the short answer.

The long one would be a bit more complicated, but absolutely the same message, still. Or in other words, I believe it would be fine even if all of CarotenALL contents were what Prime Daily Values originally defined as the preferred. Here’s what I mean.

While Lycopene is a Carotenoid it was never originally part of PDV. And neither was Astaxanthin. Originally it was only about the five other most common ones listed on the best vitamin A and Carotenoid list.

By that token, with the four supplements listed, you barely exceed what PDV amount is. But it’s fine to exceed it, as long as all of the nutrients are there. Just don’t go too crazy with it.

Cheers, George! Have a Great One!

    • Hey, Vijay!

I’m sorry that I haven’t managed to get back to you sooner. I hope you’re doing well.

Neither of these brands does fit the mold of 100% Daily Values (or reasonably above). Hence, while I have taken them into account when creating this, they’re not on this specific list.

As I see it, the thing about these brands is that they recognize the insignificance of 100% Daily Values. And so, they don’t go with those. Instead, they are much more in line with what I regard as the best practices for nutrient amounts. A different kind of standard for evaluating multivitamins.

I have a best-of list based on these values as well. You can find it here. I call them the very best of the best multivitamins.

If you do need any other input, Vijay, let me know. I’ll be happy to hear from you.

    • Hey, James!

      Such a legit question.

In the particular case, it’s not. Essentially, that’s all thanks to the fact that the supplement doesn’t contain any GMOs.
To that end, if, however, it would, it would most likely be a bad thing. And hence, not on this list.

As far as I’m aware soybeans in of themselves are not a bad thing. I mean, it’s a very nasty thing if it’s GMO material. But other than that, not at all.

      I hope that helps!

      • Hey again, what do you think about taking multivitamins all at the same time or spread out during the day when they require 2+ pills daily?
People say you just pee out the excess but not sure if that’s true or not or a waste if you take all the multivitamins at once?

        Reply
        • Hey, James!

I’ve totally missed your comment. I still find it kind of challenging to keep up with my current publishing commitments and managing to get back to all comments. I do apologize for that. I hope you’re well.

Ideally, I’d say to spread them out. The water-soluble vitamins are pretty volatile. Not sure about the exact timing (and I reckon I do have to look more into that), but I’ve heard something about our bodies unable of holding them for more than 12 hours. At that point, everything that’s unused gets discarded. Some very minute amounts may or may not be stored but typically we’re very incapable of storing the water-soluble stuff. So, yes, spread them out. I believe dividing it into two doses should be more than enough (and to make sure they’re spread evenly for the day).

This notion of peeing out excess nutrients is such an old and common notion/belief/theory. As far as I’m aware, for about 10 years now, high-profile doctors and other health professionals have been writing that it’s just not true. But very many different opinions on this still exist. That said, I’d say you never have to worry about that with the best multivitamins according to 100% or reasonably above Daily Values (which this list is about).

So, with the supplements on this list, taking it all at once, I’m very sure you won’t be able to (so to say) waste any of it no matter what you do for a living or your lifestyle. With the very best of the best multivitamins, it’s a completely different story. But, again, it all depends on a person’s specific lifestyle.

          I hope that helps.

Cheers, and have a Great One!

  10. I would yet have a question: How is it that none (or very little? I must admit that it wasn’t so easy to search for all of them but I focused on the top-tier) of the “33 Best Multivitamin Supplements 2019” do not figure on this list? Were other criteria prioritized for this list?
Thanks for your great articles anyway, your in-depth reviews are incredibly interesting!

    • Great question, Axel! Thank you for asking it. :)

Yes, that’s exactly right, none of the supplements you see on this list show up on the list of 33 Best Multivitamin Supplements 2019.

      Here’s why.

The key phrase here is nutrient amounts.

What do we choose as our standard and why is that?

This list above is based on this what I refer to and I believe it best sums it up – conventional approach. It’s all about what I feel most people see as the best fit. Meaning, that notion that every important nutrient within a multivitamin should be at least but no more than reasonably above 100% Daily Values. “To not overdose on any of the vitamins or minerals” as they tend to say.

And that’s fine. I totally get that. And many people find this works best for them.

However, the article of 33 Best Multivitamin Supplements 2019 is all about multivitamins that subscribe to what I feel are the best practices for nutrient amounts. These best practices take into account what a proper (but nothing crazy) diet should provide you with and how much additional nutrients for your best health you likely need from supplements.

These best practices typically disregard 100% Daily Values completely as these values are primarily established based on how much a certain vitamin or mineral you need daily to not get sick (aka avoid deficiency diseases). But that’s very different from awesome health. More on this you can learn within this article.

All that said, while I do feel this is the best truth we have at this time and the best approach based, on which to choose your supplements, it’s not for everyone.

And that’s not because you can overdose on a vitamin or mineral when taking a supplement based on the best practices. No, unless you’re really unlike all people, you won’t be able to as the Upper Tolerable Intake Levels typically go quite above the nutrients that are defined by the best practices (those levels represent maximum daily intakes of a singular nutrient at a time that are likely not to cause adverse effects (98%-99% of time) if used long-term).

But rather it’s a question of whether or not people are comfortable with going unconventional. Something that isn’t “common knowledge” now but is likely to be 10-20 years down the road.

I personally feel that multivitamins based on 100% Daily Values (like ones in this article) don’t do anything. Whereas the ones described in 33 Best Multivitamin Supplements 2019 is the real deal and can help you perform (for example, I feel a massive difference if I work 7+ hours a day in terms of energy, productivity, and just overall feel).

But the bottom line is that do what you feel is right for you. There is no right or wrong as long as you feel better, can perform better, that’s all that matters. Other than that, don’t use supplements with potentially hazardous substances within them (or shady manufacturing practices) and you’re good.

If you ever need anything or there’s anything else on your mind, definitely let me know. I’d love to hear from you, Axel, and I appreciate the kind words!

That said, I think that No. 1 (Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men) is a great choice for me. Despite the fact that its Vitamin A is less than any other supplement, but that’s ok, not planning on using it without that additional vitamin A supplement. And the fact that it has only 2 additives is not bad at all. All in all, when I look at those specifications, as well as the success rate and the reasonable price I feel like it resonates with me the most, thus, I’ll wet my feet and give it a try.

I have been considering to add a multivitamin to my daily routine, however, as far as I understand it’s a very debatable question whether one should.

My mom always told me that when you have a well-balanced diet you don’t need any of those supplements. Then again I’ve seen top echelon doctors saying that it’s probably a good idea to still take them. Whereas the media is quite a mixed one.

Given that I currently all I eat is organic, do you reckon I could still benefit from a multivitamin?

    • Uuuuuu, Hendrik. That’s such a tough question.

I mean, objectively despite what most people would say (that you don’t need any of those multivitamins), I feel that is highly dependant on the actual diet you’re having and your overall lifestyle.

Meaning, just eating all organic does not guarantee that you’re getting all your nutritional needs met. To illustrate, if you were to eat just one food that is organic all day that wouldn’t cut it. Furthermore, supplementation is not only about what you eat.

In that sense, I feel Dr. Mark Hyman has said it best:
“I don’t think people need vitamins and they are a waste of money. . . That is only if they eat wild, fresh, whole, organic, local, nongenetically modified food grown in virgin mineral- and nutrient-rich soils and not transported across vast distances and stored for months before being eaten. And if they work and live outside, breathe only fresh unpolluted air, drink only pure, clean water, sleep nine hours a night, move their bodies every day, and are free from chronic stressors and exposure to environmental toxins. Then we don’t need vitamins.
But, of course, I have described absolutely no one on the planet. In reality, we all need vitamins.
Most people don’t understand the role of vitamins and minerals in our bodies. I certainly didn’t when I finished medical training.”

So, if that perfectly describes you, be at peace, you don’t supplements. If not, maybe it’s still worth considering. :)

Cheers, I appreciate the kind words, and have a Great One!

  16. Hi

You are right about the number of multivitamin and minerals on the market but this is so dependent on the country where you live in. You are right the ease of absorption does play a part as often vitamins and minerals that use cheaper ingredients will use substances which the body struggles to absorb. The amount of binding agents and fillers must be also considered, as you will be paying extra for ingredients that will not do anything.

I have used a multi-vitamin and -mineral supplement for a number of years, and I believe they do help but are not a cure-all for every ailment known to man. Your review is most timely and I will use it to decide if I need to update my supplement.

    Thanks

Thank you for sharing your opinion and view on all this. I really do appreciate it. :)
Happy to hear it was timely. Definitely agree on it not being a cure-all.

  17. Color me surprised. I didn’t know that there was this much information regarding multi-vitamins. AND yes just like you had indicated earlier, I too was one of the people who had a different view about additives, but seeing your article (*I am a biology student by the way I’m a bit impressed with the amount of information presented here*)

Thank you for taking your time and making such an incredible article. I’m sure that I will be frequently returning to this post just to get another glance.(*could be useful*)

  18. Love the blog, this topic is close to me at this time as I have used men’s vitamins for a few years now.

And I was looking to switch it up a little bit, so this one’s very timely. And very comprehensive as well, I’m sure a lot of people will really appreciate it (myself included).

How do you feel about complimenting these with a proper diet and exercise? I personally on top of them try living relatively healthily, throwing in the off glass of red or schooner of beer, as well as some simple daily walking and exercise.

Also, I have had an interest in the KETO craze, it is an area that is booming, it does have some things to consider in terms of your diet and other things. But I guess that’s a conversation for a different article.

    Cheers.

Absolutely. That’s the best approach. Plus, throw in some good night’s sleep and mindfulness practice and you’re set. This is exactly how I myself roll.
I appreciate the kind words. They mean a lot. <3
Sure, let's leave that for another article!

  19. Always good to see that the products I buy are ranked highly. I buy the Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men for my husband. I’m the one in our family that does the research on our supplements and tries to ensure that we stay as healthy as possible. Do you have any tips on how to get my husband more interested in this topic? It would be nice if I could focus less on men’s products!

    • Hey, Karen!

That’s awesome, I’m sure he appreciates it very much.
That said, it’s exactly the opposite in my family, haha.

As for the question, I think a great book on nutrition should do the trick. An article I’ve written on do we need vitamin supplements could also help. That said, I guess it does heavily depend on his character and innate interests though. So, you might have to just roll with it. :)

    • Hi I am thinking of getting this for myself, how does your husband like it? I read that this company GOL is now owned by nestle, and has ties to Monsanto. Do you know anything about this? I want the very best multi vitamin, but want to be sure I can trust the company/label. Thank you.
