Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex Review – Good Stuff?

According to the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex reviews posted by customers, it is an excellent product.

Many people feel that their skin has become softer and that there are other skin-related benefits. Others are thrilled by the fact that this has helped their joints tremendously. Plus, it’s also noted as a great option if we don’t like powders as this works wonders for nails and hair still.

So, in this Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex review, we will cut it wide open and explore everything there is to know.

Hence, the idea is to be no extension of the manufacturer’s marketing or other similar nonsense. This is all going to be about what I feel is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. And we’ll do that by assessing marketing, ingredients, side effects (additives), customer feedback, and pricing. We’ll do it the truth-seeking way.

Marketing | Better Hair, Nail, Skin, Joint Health Is What They Go For

According to the manufacturer, the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex is “specifically designed for multi-functional support!” Per their words, their “quick release capsules are expertly crafted with 5 types of collagen, types I, II, III, V, X, from 4 food-based sources to provide the optimal support.” So, right off the bat, it sounds pretty good [R].

Nature's Truth Multi Collagen Complex ReviewThe product page is very brief and straight to the point.

On that note, it doesn’t really use any marketing tactics. I mean, sure, there is a section for Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex reviews but at this time there is none there.

As for the benefits, it doesn’t reach any further than supplements like the Bubs Naturals Collagen Protein (review) and the Isagenix Collagen Elixir (review) do.

Meaning, with this, we’re promised to reach great-looking skin, awesome hair, indestructible nails, and well-working joints.

As for the free-of claims, the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex is said to be Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Yeast-Free, Wheat-Free, Lactose-Free, and void of some other stuff as well.

All marketing materials considered, it looks very decent. But is it actually and objectively worth the investment?

Ingredients | It Seems To Be Stepping Away From Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that Collagens come in all kinds of ways these days. We’ve got liquid ones like with the Pure Gold Collagen (review). We’ve got the powder ones like the Native Path Collagen (review). And there is also room for capsule ones which is the case for the supplement of this review.

Nature's Nutrition Multi Collagen Complex IngredientsSo, per serving (four capsules), the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex contains 2,000 milligrams of a Multi Collagen Proprietary Blend.

This blend consists of Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen Peptides (Types I & III), Hydrolyzed Fish Collagen Peptides (Type I), Hydrolyzed Chicken Collagen Peptides (Type II), Eggshell Membrane Collagen (Types I, V & X). So, what does it all mean?

Well, for starters, it doesn’t contain much Collagen per serving at all. I mean, just two grams in every four capsules. That’s pretty low of the vital protein. And that’s just an amount with which it’s just pretty hard to get to those claimed benefits [RRRRRRRRR].

Chicken Collagen Offers Type II CollagenAnd it gets even harder still if we also take into account that the Nature’s Truth product doesn’t claim to be Pasture-Raised, Grass-Fed, Hormone-Free, or Wild-Caught. Which just means that this Multi Collagen Complex likely doesn’t have that level of quality ingredients [RRRRRRRRR].

Which is both sad and not nearly as capable or beneficial as its more mindful rivals like the Live Conscious Collagen Peptides (review).

But one thing that I have to be giving the brand is that they do both in-house testing and third-party testing on their products. So, in terms of manufacturing quality, they seem to be great. But that Collagen sourcing aspect is really hurting them [R].

Side Effects | To Review This, Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex Is OK

Side effects are typically the product of additives. And supplements can really get the additive part wrong. But does it also sin like the Applied Nutrition Liquid Collagen or the Reverse Life Collagen (review)?

Gelatin Is Most Likely Pig-SourcedThe clear problem with those two is that they don’t really care much for using only the most harmless of additives. Instead, they pretty much opt for the easiest (and often cheapest) known way to make the supplement tastier. Namely, they did so through arguably some of the worst sweeteners there is [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

But the Multi Collagen Complex of Nature’s Truth does no such thing. Here’s to elaborate.

The supplement of this review uses Gelatin Capsule, Magnesium Stearate, Rice Powder, and Silica.

For Gelatin (likely pig-sourced), it’s basically that same Collagen. Only cooked differently. So, it will typically be nothing but beneficial due to its amino acid contents. Still, it can at times for some people cause bad breath, bad taste in the mouth, or heartburn [R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R].

Rice Powder Is Great As An AdditiveMagnesium Stearate is often perceived as this terrible T-Cells-inhibiting, cancer-promoting ingredient. All of which stems from a study done on rats, not taking into account the natural human bio-mechanisms. Ultimately, I have to conclude what the minority of high-profile doctors conclude. It’s an absolutely harmless additive [R, R, R, R, R].

Rice Powder, much like Gelatin, will likely be slightly beneficial. In fact, it can improve gut health, lower inflammation, and is a good source of energy [R, R, R, R].

As for the Silica, it may be starting to become a tricky question, to an extent. But I would still say that it’s harmless due to its natural origins. It’s a substance that is naturally found in nature (it’s the chemical formula of sand) and so it’s just extremely unlikely to cause any side effects for anyone [R, R, R].

So, at least the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex is decent in this regard.

Reviews | Don’t Really Know What’s Feedback About, Why There Is None?

While product feedback by random customers is not typically the most reliable source of information, it still gives a more dynamic look at any given product. But it comes to the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex reviews, it’s an utter void.

Nature's Truth Multi Collagen Complex ReviewsI mean, yes, the product has an on-page review section much like the Revive Collagen (review), SuperSelf Marine Collagen (review), and many other Collagens out there.

But still, after more than 1.5 years, they still don’t have any customer feedback there. So, I took it to all third-party sellers and retailers I could find.

And the good news is that I didn’t find any negative ratings with comments. That said, I also didn’t encounter many positive ones.

I mean, in total, I was able to come across only 9 Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex reviews which certainly isn’t a lot. And it’s also way too early to tell anything about the potential success rates reliably.

So, again, we’ll probably have to come back to this section as time goes by. But to be honest, I don’t really expect the situation to change. I mean, in the last 1.5 years, it hasn’t really accumulated any more reviews. So, I wonder if it’s going to change in the next year.

Either way, we’ll see.

Pricing | This Multi Collagen Complex Is Decently Bad With The Cost

So, we don’t really get anything about the pricing from the Multi Collagen Complex reviews of Nature’s Truth. I mean, typically, it’s possible to at least somewhat predict what the pricing is like. But with this, we can’t really. Hence, it’s all about doing some math.

So, per container (90 capsules), the supplement typically costs $15.79. That’s, essentially, $0.18 for every capsule of the product or $0.70 for every serving. Or to be more easily comparable, that’s $3.51 for every 10 grams of Multi Collagen.

This Product Actually Costs Quite A LotHow does that compare?

Well, not very well, to be honest. I mean, yes, it’s capsuled and that just inherently adds to the price when compared to powders but still. It looks pretty bad.

So, let’s compare it to something like the BioTrust Ageless Multi Collagen (review). This thing typically costs $31 for 20 servings. Given that a serving is 11.25 grams, BioTrust costs about $1.38 for every 10 grams of Multi Collagen. In other words, that’s three-fold less than Nature’s Truth.

Yes, they both are third-party tested. Neither of them uses any bad additives. But BioTrust has a good track record with customer feedback. It also offers L-Tryptophan to the mix. And personally, I would just prefer it every time over the supplement of this review.

Another option we could definitely compare it to is the Alaya Multi Collagen (review). It typically comes at a price of $33.99. For that price, we get 40 servings, each of them 8.6 grams of Multi Collagen. Namely, that’s 98.8 cents for every 10 grams of Multi Collagen.

In comparison, that’s about 3.5-fold less than Nature’s Truth. Both are third-party tested. Great additives for both. A huge difference lies, however, in the Alaya’s Multi-Joint Complex. Meaning, Alaya is no doubt going to be the much more capable joint health facilitator. And given the price, I would easily prefer it.

Pros & Cons | Nature’s Truth Just Could Have Done It Better

Pros Cons
The supplement of this review is Non-GMO and free of most other allergens. The Collagen used is very likely not Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, Hormone-Free, Wild-Caught. Meaning, it will likely not be nearly as beneficial.
The Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex has decent additives. Just 2,000 milligrams per serving means that there likely won’t be any meaningful benefits.
It’s easy to take because it comes in capsules. There’s barely any customer feedback on the product.
They do third-party testing on the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex. It’s really expensive when compared to powder Multi Collagen supplements.

Overall | This Supplement Superficially May Seem Okay, But I Just Wouldn’t

I don’t think that there’s anything particularly unique about the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex. I mean, it’s kind of our standard Multi Collagen that is properly manufactured but poorly sourced.

So, for positives, it’s Non-GMO. It’s third-party tested. And it’s definitely easy to take or have it on the go. And, of course, also good additives.

I Would Not Go For This Particular SupplementAt the same time, for negatives, there is no customer feedback, essentially. Then, it’s properly expensive to what else we can get for the price (or cheaper). But its biggest flaw I believe is Collagen sourcing.

This just won’t be nearly as beneficial as a rival that does have Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, Hormone-Free, Wild-Caught Multi Collagen.

Hence, (out of avoid it, consider it, shortlist it, buy it), I think it’s fine to consider it. I mean, again, the manufacturing quality is there. It’s just that sourcing of main ingredients very likely sucks. And that’s a big red flag. And the same goes for the price.

On that note, if you’re interested in something of true value when it comes to Multi Collagen supplements, I would propose to look into this one (full review). But if it has to be something in capsules, I would pick this (full review).

Above all, I hope this Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex review helped you find the information you were looking for. If you have any thoughts or questions, I’m just a comment away. And do feel free to leave your own personal reviews on the product as well.

  1. Great content about a rising product in collagen supplements. This includes so much fair and unbiased information about the product and really lays out the facts in an easy-to-understand manner. Looking at the price per 10 grams compared to some of the product’s competitors, I would definitely be avoiding this as a great value purchase.

What are they trying to do with offering such little amounts of Collagen? It makes zero sense, from my point of view. I just don’t get it. If you normally need a particular amount of the product for decent benefits, why on earth would you ever offer five times fewer and call it a day (or a supplement, in this case)?

Isn’t that like an approach of manufacturers where they are not trying to really help their customers and are there just to make a buck? Doesn’t that in itself make the manufacturer a company that people should better not trust?

    Thanks again for sharing.

    • Hey, Danny!

I’m glad you enjoyed the content. That’s awesome to hear. And, for sure, the price is just ridiculously high with the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex if we pick a proper, objective way of measuring what the supplements actually cost.

I think it’s just the matter of capsules. I mean, yes, it’s possible to put Collagen in capsules but Collagen takes up plenty of space. Meaning, basically, the only way to do it is to have on average about 1 gram of Collagen per capsule otherwise the capsules just get too large. And then, the question is how many capsules will you recommend.

Because if the capsules get too large, it kind of defeats the purpose of easy consumption. Plus, we’ll encounter plenty of enraged people. Have there be too many capsules per serving, and it’s the same thing. Quite a few people will be enraged.

I really don’t know why this is but people have these huge misconceptions that everything we need in terms of nutrients daily should be possible to be compressed in a single small capsule or two. And so, the expectations kind of have transcended to other supplement categories (not just basic nutrition). But the misconceptions are not true.

But due to those enraged people, supplements like this end up recommending well below what is the amount that we should be consuming to maximize benefits.

I think that still doesn’t justify it. Because there are ways how to put good potency in capsules when it comes to Collagen (use the patented Collagen formulations). But it does illustrate, why manufacturers might be doing it. And I wouldn’t say that we should automatically not trust a manufacturer that tries to offer Collagen in capsules but fails to do it properly.

      Cheers,

  2. Thanks so much for leaving such a thorough review on the supplement. I liked your style a lot. I like that it’s all so well structured. And you’re being very informative about everything. There’s literally nothing that I would have wanted from a review. It’s all just so elegant overall.

I was looking at the product because of the joint and skin benefits that it promises as I could really use some of those. So, it did seem like a great product for that. Plus, I really liked that it has a multi-functional support element which felt to be really promising and just a good value for money.

But, boy, can the looks be deceiving.

I mean, if I hadn’t found your review, I would have just been a happy buyer. But there’s clearly much more to Collagen than meets the eye. And this Nature’s Truly Multi Collagen Complex doesn’t fit the kind of quality I seek in the products I use.

Other than that, I would worry that this has barely any customer feedback. But since I’m confident that I won’t be buying it, I really don’t care.

Yeah, I absolutely feel you. If I was to look at it superficially, it would look like a really great product as well. I mean, that’s what marketing is. They put emphasis on all the good aspects of any given product and they downplay the role (or don’t mention them at all) of any other aspects that would make a difference but they don’t have them to boast with.

So, the looks can, indeed, be very, very deceiving.

For sure, for just about any supplement, there is more than meets the eye. And all I’m trying to do with my reviews is expose that. So, you get to make a fully educated choice, not just one which is in an absolute vacuum of what else is out there and how a decent supplement of any given category should be.

I feel you as far as customer reviews.

      Cheers,

  3. Thanks for the immensely helpful review. There are so many different products out there that it isn’t always easy to cut through the marketing hype to figure out which supplement is the right one for me and my family. And before this article, the Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex was definitely one of them. But this made it all so crystal clear. I can’t thank you enough.

It helps a lot that you break down the contents of the supplement the way that you do. I like that you’ve also added a section on pros and cons as it kind of summarizes it all perfectly and makes the entire thing very transpicuous. I loved it. I also enjoyed the section on pricing and comparisons a lot. It helps to put it into perspective.

Ultimately, I think I’m going to stick to something with a lower cost for now. I too don’t think that three and a half dollars is a good price. Given what else there is and that costs considerably less, I wonder how anyone ever decides to purchase it.

    Thanks for the helpful research!

Yeah, I definitely agree. To say that there are a ton of different products would be an understatement. Because there are just so many more. It really is a jungle with everything from proper Collagens to those that I wouldn’t ever dare to recommend even to my worst enemy. There’s every option of the range. And that’s what makes it often so incredibly confusing.

And I’m glad this cut right through that. I’m beyond thrilled to hear that. :)

As a side note, at some point, I do intend to introduce a section that goes into comparisons more in detail and more comprehensively. For now, it’s simply a part of the pricing section that kind of covers it. Other than that, I definitely agree. It does help a lot in helping to put things into perspective. Because it’s hard to assess what are $3.51 if there is no context to how other products are priced on the market.

And this section does add that. It was the exact reason why I decided that I need a section like that.

I feel you when it comes to that conclusion of yours. There are just way better options out there.

      Cheers,

I will share this website with my friends and family. I bet they’ll get a ton of value out of it as well.
