Orgain Collagen Peptides Review – Is The Pricing Good?

Summary  |  Ranking  | Marketing  |  Ingredients  |  Side Effects  |  Reviews  |  Pricing  |  Pros & Cons  |  Comparisons  |  Overall  |

Orgain Collagen Peptides is an okay quality supplement the biggest strength of which is its pricing. While it offers in-house testing for reassuring purity and Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised sourcing for greater benefits, it isn’t all ideal.

That’s especially true given that their quality check seems to be sometimes tripping. Then the sourcing also lacks one important characteristic. And the product doesn’t come with any flavor options either. And so, I do point to some clearly better options.

Summary Orgain Collagen Peptides
Claimed Benefits Accurate. | It claims better skin, stronger nails, robust bones, improved hair, as well as joint health. | I believe that these are all possible with this supplement.
Ingredients Decent. | Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, Non-GMO. | Forgets about Hormone-Free. | Good amounts per serving.
Side Effects None. | There are no additives in it.
Quality In-house testing. | This is good but the quality checks for end-products sometimes fail.
Success Rate Above 85.3%. | Based on 2,363 reviews. | It is a fine success rate.
Price 54.5 cents for every 10 grams of Bovine Collagen. | Very good pricing (arguably its biggest strength).
Ranking Nop. | I would not rank this supplement among the best collagen powders out there.
Recommendation Consider it. | While I think that it’s fine to consider it, I would not buy it personally.
Better Alternatives? I would prefer the Live Conscious Collagen Peptides (full review with a summary) instead.

Marketing | Hair, Skin, Nail, And Joint Health Are The Primary Goal

According to the manufacturer, Orgain Collagen Peptides is made for both men and women. Per their words, among numerous health benefits, this product also is odorless and tasteless. Moreover, it is said to be easy to add to our daily routine and to mix with cold and hot liquids effortlessly.

Orgain Collagen Peptides ReviewThe product page itself reminds me heavily of supplements like the Primal Kitchen Collagen Peptides (review) and the Naturelo Collagen (review).

Meaning, this Collagen supplement follows the notion of keeping it tight, brief, and without information overload.

That said, it does, however, take advantage of many marketing tactics commonly used. They offer an option to subscribe and save 25%. This one comes with free shipping and somewhat of a money-back guarantee.

Plus, there is a section full of overwhelmingly positive Orgain Collagen Peptides reviews. Basically, all of these attest to the beneficialness for our hair, skin, nails, bones, and joint health.

As for free-of claims, the product promises to be Non-GMO, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, and without Artificial Preservatives, Colors, or Flavors.

Other than that, I think the supplement of this review is still one of the visually best-looking Collagen supplements I’ve ever encountered (I liked it previously a bit more but it still looks very good).

So, the marketing materials paint a very captivating picture of the product. But is it truly as value-providing as it used to be gorgeous visually?

Ingredients | Orgain Collagen Peptides Supplement Is Decently Abundant

A lot of different approaches exist for Collagen supplements. Some Collagen supplements tend to overkill providing not only the protein but also a bunch of (typically low-quality) vitamins and minerals. Others tend to limit themselves to just one or two extra substances. Whereas others more provide just Collagen and nothing else.

The Collagen Peptides of Orgain product identifies itself with the very last of these groups.

Per serving, it offers 20 grams of Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Collagen Peptides with nothing more to add. Hence, simple and straightforward.

To that end, it heavily reminds me of such truly dosage-viable brands like the Nature’s Truth Ultra Collagen Complex (review) and the Bubs Naturals Collagen Protein (review). Both of those go by 20 grams of Collagen per serving. And that’s something I feel we can’t ever go wrong with.

In other words, as far as benefits go, that’s a very potent amount [RRRRRRRRR].

Grass-Fed Sourcing Is So ImportantAnd then, if 20 grams is not really your jam, since it is a powder, you can adjust it however you want. It’s a definite upside for the powders just in general. They add plenty of flexibility to the table.

On a side note, to me, that’s somewhat of a joke that there are supplements like the RejuviCare Super Collagen (review) or Nature’s Truth Multi Collagen Complex (review) that commonly offer 1-2 grams of the protein while also implying the full range of benefits. Which is just not likely to happen. To that extent, 10 grams are so much better [R, R, R, R].

As for sourcing, Grass-Fed and Pasture-Raised are great. But what we would really also want is Hormone-Free. Especially, because the two former don’t actually imply the latter. In other words, the sourcing is good but it could be even better [RRRRRRRRR].

As for the quality of the Orgain Collagen Peptides, it’s not the upper echelon third-party-testing-embracing type of thing. However, it does feel quite decent in that respect nonetheless. They seem to be pretty devoted to making it always about Organic and Non-GMO ingredients. Which is good.

Plus, from what I gather, they are also in-house testing the ingredients. And that is awesome.

And hence, all of the promised gains with this Orgain one should hold true, typically [R, R, R, R, R].

Side Effects | This Product Chooses To Go Without Any Additives

Side effects are typically the product of additives. But many people are quite oblivious or even ignorant about what kind of additives a supplement has. Per their thinking, those don’t matter.

I mean, sure, they may not matter as much if we’re planning to use a certain supplement only for a short amount of time. But anywhere upwards of 1-2 months, I’d say it matters greatly. And there’s a ton of proof out there that shows just that [R, R, R, R, R, R].

This One Rolls Without AdditivesSo, where do these Collagen Peptides of Orgain stand in this regard?

Well, it doesn’t do any worse than supplements like the Landish Marine Collagen (review) or the Bulletproof Collagen Protein (review). Meaning, this one doesn’t use any additives at all. Which is something most supplement types can’t say about themselves at all.

For example, we’ll never find a decent multivitamin supplement that can do without a single additive. The same typically goes for Fish Oils, vitamin D supplements, Probiotics, and a plethora of other types of supplements.

However, every once in a while there is a type that can actually manage (to do without additives). Collagen supplements are such a thing. MCT Oils are another one. And Carotenoid supplements are one more.

So, Orgain Collagen Peptides is kind of all about letting us enjoy the benefits of the protein without any extra stuff at all. And hence, no real worries or concerns as far as side effects go (do note that Collagen itself can cause stomach distress for some select few people) [RRRR].

Reviews | I Actually Expected Better Customer Feedback But It Is Fine

I’ve always seen it as a worthwhile thing to devote some time to exploring customer reviews and global success rates. Not that I believe that they are an accurate representation of how useful a supplement is. No, there are just too many ways how these can be influenced without them being genuine or the truth. Furthermore, there even are companies that one can pay to boost a manufacturer’s ranking on sites like Amazon.

Seeking Another Perspective Can Be Very HelpfulI believe this section as a whole gives another perspective on the supplement. Hence, a more thorough look overall if you will.

So, if we’re looking strictly at the Orgain Collagen Peptides reviews on its product page, they feel highly biased. This is because of the 439 ratings they have there at the writing of this article, only 10 are bad (one-star or two-star).

Which reminds me heavily of what I have seen with so many other supplements, including the Isagenix Collagen Elixir (review) and the Andrew Lessman Marine Collagen (review).

Meaning, it’s likely that these get edited and adjusted to fit the manufacturer’s needs better. And so, they are terribly unuseful for us (the near 100% success rate is just not something that happens naturally no matter how great a product is).

To fix that to an extent, I looked at every single real customer review for the supplement I could find by all third-party sellers and retailers. And I found quite a bit.

In total, I managed to scramble together 2,363 Orgain Collagen Peptides reviews, the success rate of which was nowhere near as amazing as that on their product page. Namely, I found 215 one-star ones, 132 two-star ones, 183 three-star ones, 263 four-star ones, and 1,570 five-star ones. Hence, a total of 347 negative ratings and 2,016 positive ones.

Reviews Case Study For The SupplementAnd I bet you can already tell that the global success rate isn’t nearly as high.

It’s actually 85.3%. Granted, the actual approval rate is likely to be higher given that people generally tend to report negative experiences far more often than positive ones. But still. That’s not a very high success rate.

Hence, supposedly, it may give off this vibe that maybe that’s not such a great idea to buy it since there’s plenty of bad comments also. But that’s the potential danger and harm of customer feedback in general. It isn’t always accurate. It doesn’t always reflect perfectly the helpfulness of a supplement.

That said, it seems that based on that negative customer feedback for the Orgain Collagen, it’s one of two things.

First, it’s either that their in-house testing is tripping at times. Or, second, it’s just a product of storing these supplements poorly which Amazon warehouses are, I feel, almost famous for. Still, some people point to high lead and mercury content which I believe does explain a number of the negative side effects people have reported [RRRRRR].

So, it’s not a good vibe for everyone. Still, among the positive feedback, we can find many people to whom this is their favorite Collagen after trying many.

Many people adore its price and physical characteristics like the fact that it dissolves easily while also being tasteless and odorless. Others are excited about it being of massive help to their hair, skin, and nails. Whereas others more were pleasantly surprised about it helping even their bones and joints.

Pricing | Without A Doubt, This Orgain Is Very Competitively Priced

While looking through the negative Orgain Collagen Peptides reviews, I didn’t really find anyone who was complaining about the supplement being expensive. Would it then mean that it’s a bargain or just generally a good bang for the buck? Here’s some math to get to the bottom of that.

So, per container (22 servings or 44 scoops), the supplement typically costs $23.99. Given that it’s 22 servings, that’s $1.09 per serving. To do the math even further, it costs 54.5 cents for every 10 grams of Bovine Collagen.

This Is A Well-Priced OneAnd let me just say that that’s a bonkers good price.

Here’s to compare that to something like the Zhou Collagen Peptides (review). Zhou costs typically $27.99 per container. A container of that one comes with 46 servings of 11 grams of Collagen each. Hence, if we do the math, that’s 55.3 cents for every 10 grams of Bovine Collagen.

Thus, the Orgain is slightly cheaper. Zhou also doesn’t use additives and third-party testing but it does have Hormone-Free sourcing. Overall, it’s a very similar supplement. I mean, even its negative customer feedback comes with similar snags (but the success rate is higher). Still, as far as quality, Zhou feels better.

And to that end, personally, I would stick with Zhou if I had to choose between the two.

But here’s something that absolutely, utterly would destroy Orgain in a one-on-one faceoff. Live Conscious Collagen Peptides (review). Not only is Live Conscious third-party tested over the Orgain but it’s also essentially the exact same price. Zero additives, Non-GMO. Hormone-Free. Everything we would ever want from a Collagen product. Hence, it is like Orgain only better in every way.

Still, that doesn’t take away from the price of Orgain Collagen Peptides being superb one bit. Hence, it only makes sense why no one is complaining about the price when it comes to the customer reviews. It’s because the price is, indeed, a very competitive one.

Pros & Cons | Some Flaws Are Just Too Hard To Justify

Pros Cons
It offers Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, Non-GMO Collagen. It’s free of many allergens. In terms of sourcing, Orgain Collagen doesn’t offer Hormone-Free.
The product offers good amounts of Collagen per serving. Which is likely to translate well into gains for joints, bones, nails, hair, skin. The supplement of this review doesn’t offer third-party testing.
Serving size can be adjusted easily and as needed for your own specific needs due to it being a powder. While they have in-house testing, there are still snags which feel to be not that rare for the supplement. It seems that the manufacturing quality just isn’t that great.
It comes at a really affordable price.
These Collagen Peptides have no additives. Hence, any side effects are extremely unlikely.

Comparisons | Price Seems To Be Its Strongest Suit

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Vs Orgain Collagen Peptides

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (review) is a really popular Bovine Collagen supplement these days. Many people prefer it over the other brands. Many people praise it for its quality. But that quality does come with a pretty high price tag as well.

And that’s probably where these two supplements differ the most.

I mean, the Collagen Peptides of Vital Proteins takes no compromises and goes for upper-class quality every time. Whereas Orgain feels a lot more calculated in what it offers.

So, both of them don’t use any additives. Which is good. Both have good success rates. Which is good. But these are just about the only aspects that could be considered even.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides ReviewWhen it comes to beneficial ingredients, I like Vital Proteins a lot more. I mean, Orgain’s Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Collagen is great but that Hormone-Free on top is where the Vital Proteins product clearly excels.

And then, Vital Proteins version of things also outclasses in terms of quality because they third-party test it. Whereas Orgain just in-house tests it. And then, Vital Proteins also offers Hyaluronic Acid to the mix. Orgain doesn’t have that. Plus, Vital Proteins comes with flavored options. No flavored options for Orgain.

So, that’s kind of where both of these are at. But the price makes all the difference.

You see, Vital Proteins costs typically 82.0 cents versus Orgain’s 54.5 for every 10 grams of Collagen. To put that, into perspective, for the same price, it’s either one month (10 grams a day) of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides or 45 days of Orgain. In other words, it’s either one month or 1.5x months of supply, respectively.

And that’s just a massive difference.

Still, personally, I don’t feel that saving on quality with the Orgain is worth it. I mean, it’s still decent if we can’t afford the higher-priced option. But if we can afford it, it has so much more potential to deliver on skin, hair, and nail health. Vital Proteins is just better.

Native Path Collagen Vs Orgain Collagen Peptides

To be honest, the Native Path Collagen (review) seems to be hottest than the Vital Proteins one right now. Many people are really swearing by it. And some even have called it life-changing. But then Native Path isn’t actually that different from Orgain.

I mean, in terms of specs alone, these two are extremely the same. They are very, very close.

So, the Native Path offers Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Collagen whilst lacking the claim for Hormone-Free. So, too does the Orgain option.

Native Path Collagen ReviewThe Native Path gets in-house tested and doesn’t believe in third-party testing. So is also true for Orgain.

The success rates on both are similar. Whereas when it comes to additives, Orgain has none. Whereas Native Path offers a couple of different, viable options while also having an unflavored one for people who prefer that.

So, indeed, these two products are basically the same. But where the difference lies is pricing. And, boy, what a difference that is.

I mean, even the unflavored Native Path Collagen costs $1.04 for every 10 grams of Bovine Collagen. For flavored options, the price is even higher. But with the Orgain, we have that price of 54.5 cents for every 10 grams.

This basically means that for every month of supply of Native Path, the alternative is two months’ worth of Orgain. Which is a ridiculous difference if you ask me.

I mean, it’s basically the same product. Orgain is just half the price. And that’s something I would absolutely go for if the choice had to be made between these two supplements alone.

As for why the Collagen Peptides of Native Path supplement is so popular right now, that I don’t know. I think that it’s just proof that marketing means a lot. One can get a lot done with proper marketing even if they don’t have the best product.

Even if that product is, frankly, quite average overall, and there are others that offer the same but at a significantly lower price.

Overall | This Brand’s Shaky Quality Is Probably The Biggest Flaw

The core idea behind Orgain’s Collagen Peptides is seemingly very solid. Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised bovine as their Collagen source, decent amounts of the protein, and no additives to contribute to the uncertainty of side effects. It’s also Non-GMO, free of Gluten, Soy, and Dairy.

And then, frankly, the success rates aren’t that bad either. I mean, sure, they could be higher but it’s still fine. Now, one thing that it does excel at is the pricing aspect. I mean, I’ve said this many times already but 54.5 cents for every 10 grams of Collagen is a really competitive price.

This Brand Is Not A Collagen I Would Go ForSo, there are many positives. But it isn’t all positive. I mean, the manufacturing quality despite in-house testing is definitely a flaw. To that end, it underdelivers for sure. And I am a bit concerned.

Third-party testing would fix that. But Orgain Collagen Peptides don’t have that. I feel they should though.

As for other flaws, the fact that Collagen isn’t Hormone-Free is also bad. I mean, this typically means that Antibiotics are given to cows only through winter but still. It isn’t ideal.

Hence, (out of avoid it, consider it, shortlist it, but it) I believe that we shouldn’t more than simply consider it. I mean, the idea behind it is really great. But the execution of that idea is what is tripping. Hence, I would be cautious about investing in it.

Other than that, if you’re interested in something of genuine quality, I would recommend going with what I believe is the most superior Collagen out there. Here’s my full review with a summary of it.

Above all, I hope this Orgain Collagen Peptides review helped you find the information you were looking for. If you have any thoughts or questions, I’m just a comment away. And do feel free to leave your own personal reviews on the product as well.

  1. A colleague started using collagen when she turned 30 and said it has really helped her maintain a youthful glow. The brand she is using now is okay and she has no complaints except that it’s a bit pricey. ☺

She is looking for something more affordable but with the same quality as the brand she is currently using. Orgain Collagen Peptides seems like a good alternative because of its pricing advantage. But I would like to see positive reviews of this product before recommending it to my colleague.

First, I like that it is grass-fed and non-GMO. Also, it does not have any side effects. And so, I wonder why there is not that much positive feedback. Either way, thanks for your review of the Orgain Collagen Peptides. I will discuss this with my colleague and see if she will consider switching.

Yeah, I’ve heard many similar success stories. :)

And I definitely get that colleague of yours. In fact, premium brands can get truly expensive. And they aren’t always worth it because some of them are just overpriced for no real reason. But that I guess is true for any product category out there.

Definitely feel free to share this with her as well. I’ll also happily answer any questions she might have. And if you or she get the chance I would kindly offer to also look at that recommendation of mine. It’s something that has so much more quality but the price increase over Orgain is truly minuscule for that.

  2. Thank you for this interesting read, and it’s very interesting how the different collagen products have different dosages. I actually wonder how each brand determines that. Do you happen to know what the factors are that they take into account when recommending a certain dosage size?

For example, my current collagen says a tablespoon a day. But I am not sure if this is quite 10 grams. I’m pretty sure that it must be less than that.

I wondered if one can also take too much collagen and whether this would be harmful long-term if that is the case. However, I would also say that the powder is so expensive, and I imagine that people would naturally try and take as little as possible to make sure that it lasts.

    • Hey, Michel!

I bet that some of the manufacturers actually look at the studies and then figure out what the effective dosage is. And then, that is what they recommend with their product. That being said, I feel that many also make that recommendation completely random, and there is absolutely no scientific basis for what they are recommending. And others probably make their recommended dosage purely on what their manufacturing constraints are (for example, how much Collagen can we squeeze in a capsule or a tablet).

But these are just guesses, based on what I’ve observed. I’ve no idea how it is actually decided.

I believe you’re right. One tablespoon probably doesn’t live up to 10 grams of the protein.

I think that there’s plenty of evidence out there that any nutrient can be detrimental when consumed in maniac-level overabundant amounts. I mean, you could consume 40 grams of Bovine Collagen daily easily for prolonged periods of time and experience no harmful effects whatsoever. But this can be dependent on all kinds of different factors varying from person to person.

I feel what you’re saying but what the Orgain Collagen Peptides cost is actually very, very affordable. Almost every other somewhat decent Collagen will cost more.

      Kind regards,

  3. The older I get, the more I research for supplements that can help slow the aging process down. Some of my friends have used collagen to help them fight off wrinkles. But I’ve used several different collagen products in the past, mainly for my skin, and have never really noticed a difference.

    Maybe I’m not taking enough?

Funny enough, I was recently going to try a collagen supplement once again to see if it would help, and Orgain Collagen Peptides caught my eye on the shelf. But now that I know it’s not hormone-free, I think I’ll keep looking and maybe try the brand you recommended. I try to steer clear of anything that isn’t hormone-free. Although I’m sure this brand works for some, I think I’ll have to keep looking.

    • Hey, Lee!

I think that’s the best way how to go about it. I mean, you absolutely have to do the research to not get preyed on by skillful marketing. And I feel you. I think that most people take Collagen for all the benefits that it can bring to the skin and anti-aging.

As far as not taking enough, that is very possible. I mean, there are so many Collagen supplements in capsules but most of them typically won’t do anything because of how little protein there actually is in them. And yet, they still promise the same benefits but that just isn’t realistic. I believe that 10 grams a day are a decent amount. But it’s also kind of like the minimum.

I mean, you could go up to 40 grams a day or even more depending on your lifestyle, age, and your specific needs.

Above all, I definitely concur about not having any of this Orgain Collagen. Hormone-Free for me also feels like an absolute must. And if you happen to try that recommendation of mine, let me know how it goes. I’d love to hear from you.

  4. Hello, Matiss!

Collagen is a fantastic supplement, especially when it’s done right and properly sourced. But what I hadn’t realized before this article is that being hormone-free is a thing. I always just thought that it’s about being grass-fed and pasture-raised.

While I am pretty upset that I hadn’t known this sooner, it makes sense why manufacturers don’t want to advertise that. Because that would be like shooting yourself in the foot. And no marketing team in their right mind would ever do that. If not, relieved of their duties is what they probably would be.

Thank you for being honest and straightforward. I’ve seen so many reviews essentially just echoing marketing claims but that’s definitely not you. Thank you for being a difference-maker.

    Best wishes,

I’m glad this was helpful. I’m very happy about that. Also, I genuinely appreciate the kind words.

And, yeah, there is no need to expect that the marketing teams will ever share the negative aspects of a product. It just doesn’t happen. They are typically paid to up-play the positives and ignore any negatives. And, indeed, they would probably be fired if they did it any other way. At least with most companies.

  5. Thank you for your review. I have tried two different brands of collagen peptides. Not knocking either brand but wonder if I’m doing something wrong or other people have the same problem. The last container of Orgain collagen + superfoods stated it had 34, 1 scoop servings. I counted the servings I got from the container to 24 level scoops. The first product I used also had significantly fewer servings than stated on the container. Is this common? I am not tapping down the powder or anything like that. I use the scoop that is provided. Any thoughts?

    • Hey, Lois!

This is not something I’ve noticed with the Collagen I’m using. But then, again, I’m not doing this category of supplements regularly.

One thing that springs to mind is the fact that manufacturing-wise the powder kind of taps down naturally. Meaning, typically, the manufacturers have their containers filled to the top but that’s never what we see when we open a fresh container. I mean, depending on the product, it’s only about half to two-thirds full. That’s because the powder naturally kind of falls in on itself. Thus, maybe having a supposedly smaller serving count has to do with it being fallen too much on itself if that makes sense.

To that end, if you have the means to do it, I would try to weigh the powder instead of measuring it by counting leveled scoops. Because if the “falling in on itself” theory checks out, it just might be that whatever your level scoop is, it exceeds what the supposed serving size should be.

If you get the chance, do let me know what you find.

  6. A little collagen is really everything. Thanks so much for the article; it really blessed my day. This is really a good put-up article.

As I age, I don’t like how my skin looks and feels. Doing some research, I came across a plethora of products, including Orgain Collagen Peptides. After reading your review, I feel that I truly have a better idea as to what it is and what I should expect if I decide to purchase it.

The price seems reasonable. I’m pretty sure that it’s lower than any of the other Collagens I have looked at. That being said, let me ask you something, though. How many servings do you take per day? One, two?

As to the reviews, while they can be biased, they may not necessarily be so. When I look something up, I hate it when I see lots of 5-star reviews and an equal number of 1-star reviews. That should never happen for any truly good product, at least in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing. I will definitely add this to my list

    • Hey, Barry!

Indeed, just a little collagen can truly go a long way. I’m glad you found this useful.

For sure, there are tons of different products out there. But the Orgain is definitely not a completely unique-characteristic-less supplement like some of the other ones I’ve reviewed. Price is its strongest suit as it seems you’ve also noticed. :)

As for servings, I would say at least one would be great. Going for two is also a superb option. Say, you can start off with one and then try two after a while. And see if it works better for you.

Indeed, an equal number of five-star reviews and one-star reviews is typically a bad sign.

  7. Timely to read your reviews. I am looking for a great product without hassle to use and your reviews talk about that which lets me do the shortcut in understanding the Collagen products just in general. And to that end, to also understand what’s important for quality, pricing, as well as how well it stands in terms of pros and cons.

As we age, everything with regards to our physical bodies weakens its function. And supplements are extremely important when it comes to that. I believe that they can make a real difference, and thus, play an important role to prolong our healthy life and all bodily functions.

Personally, the price with this is just right for me. And I am willing to take those tradeoffs for it. Really looking forward to trying the Orgain Collagen Peptides product. Thank you for your clear and concise article.

Yeah, Collagen products can help with skin health and look a ton. To that end, it’s, indeed, a very viable category to be going with for that purpose. And I’m really glad that this gave a good idea of what you’re getting when it comes to the product.

The price is, indeed, very good. Not sure if I mentioned that in the article. But Orgain offers just about the most affordable Collagen there is.

I would say that one serving is enough. But you can definitely take two as well. The protein is pretty flexible like that.

As for the reviews, that’s a good point. I mean, even if a product has a ton of five-star reviews, an equal amount of one-star ones feels like a red flag. I too would be very cautious when going for any product that has it like that.

  9. I had Covid-19 one year ago and I had a huge hair loss from it, my doctor suggested to me that I should take Orgain Collagen Peptides, and definitely, I would say that it is worth it. I mean, I didn’t think much about it since I didn’t really know what Collagen was or how it helped our bodies at the time. I just took his word for it and went out and got it. To be completely honest, I was kind of petrified because I didn’t want to lose all my precious hair.

And so, after 6 months of using the Orgain Collagen Peptides every day consistently and without a single off-day, I began to have these baby hair all over my head and my nails are stronger. I mean, it was genuinely working and doing its magic. Today, I don’t feel like I need it anymore but it was a great experience. And with that in mind, I can only highly recommend the product.

That said, I think that it’s hard to argue your findings. I think your review is written beautifully with sources and analysis. It’s perfect. I wish I had come across you back when I was first shopping for Collagen. Orgain is good but it really seems like there are some better options out there. Love your dedication.

Thank you so much for your wonderful piece of content.

    • Hey, Ledi!

I really appreciate you sharing the experience. I’m happy for you. Glad it was helpful when you really needed it to deliver. I’m thrilled that it was a fine experience. Because Orgain does feel like a great brand overall. It’s just that I’m personally not really sure about their Collagen as a genuinely awesome product.

I love your open-mindedness. I mean, for sure, the fact that there are better Collagens out there doesn’t take anything away from the great experience that you had. And I’m grateful for you recognizing the effort that goes into it. It really means a lot. :)

      Cheers,

  10. Thanks for writing about Orgain Collagen Peptides. Collagen essence is a trending supplement in my place because it can also benefit your skin health, so I’m actually interested in this product. However, even though the pricing is alright, I find the many biased reviews as a red sign. I will try to compare with other supplements before making a decision. Thanks.

Yes, it is absolutely a trending one. Mmm… I appreciate that view.
Definitely do compare them as much as you need. And if you need anything, I’m right here in the comment section. :)

  11. Thank you for sharing this lovely, informative article with us. It is truly amazing how well you managed to cover this subject. I’m a fan. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. And best of all, I learned a lot, even despite being quite well familiar with the product because my father has been using it for a long time.

Back when my father had bone pain, he took it on the advice of a doctor and got plenty of relief from that pain. He also experienced first hand how very beneficial for the health of nails and hair it has been. So, just as a sidenote, I would say that for anyone looking for some extra hair and joint health, you should really about the protein.

Apart from all that, just wanted to let you know that since I enjoyed your Orgain Collagen Peptides review article so much, I’ll be sharing it with my mates on Facebook to help spread the word about you. To your success! Cheers.

      I’m thrilled to hear that.

And uuu-uu, I absolutely appreciate you for sharing your father’s experiences. I’m genuinely happy for him. And I, for sure, agree with that general Collagen remark.

So, this one definitely works, then. :)

      Cheers, Asraful!

  12. This product sounds real promising as it is a “clean” product with collagen and nothing else and in abundance. Compared to some of the other similar products you have reviewed, this product gives you what it promises to do.  It provides you with collagen and in a sufficient amount. But with other options which have better “rating”, the two you have mentioned, I think I will, as you, go for Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides or Garden of Life Collagen. In either case, I don´t think you would go wrong with any of these three products as the success rate are not that far apart. Thanks.

    • Hey, Roy!

It, indeed, does. Solid amounts of Collagen and everything.
But personally, as I mentioned, I would still prefer the other two.

Either way, I wholeheartedly appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Cheers, and have an Awesome Day!

  13. I was suggested this by a friend. I had previously never heard of this Collagen before but this reviewer really digs into the substance of it. There are many products in the marketplace that make claims that are not exactly true and try to fudge results. If there are already superior products already available, why should you buy a likely overrated product? A person should always purchase from a proven, reliable source and avoid the many products that claim something that is not true.

    • Hey, Bill!

I’m glad this was insightful. :)

And totally agree. Proven, reliable source – that’s paramount. And, truly, there’s no need to go for an overrated one when there are awesome other options.

Cheers, and have a Great One!

  14. Hi Matiss,

I am of the opinion that it is always good to get other people’s opinions on products, and that’s very much true for collagen peptides as well; it can be such a confusing experience otherwise. It is great that there exist organic-like collagens that make a great alternative for those who do not want to place too much stress on the planet. Personally, I do not make my decision on what the product looks like but what it can do, as that’s how to not get yourself disappointed in the end. Also, I always enjoy products that offer a guarantee, as, in my mind, this emphasizes the idea that they are all about the customer experience.

I find it awesome that you have gone into this product into great depth, as this have, for sure, helped me to make a much more informed decision. In fact, I am currently looking into collagen but before today, I was very much in the dark.

    Thanks.
